A half-century-old family tradition keeps things sailing at new speeds..
In Short
This annual event--now in its 53rd year--is more than a boat show. Festivities include an air show, 8K run, parade, the famous Milk Carton Derby and more. Things start sailing on July 5 with the Milk Carton Derby. The popular parade and 8K run take place July 26. The hydroplane races (August 2-4) include boats traveling in excess of 200 mph. The event closes August 1-3 with an air show that includes the Blue Angels.
