best place to find sun in rainy seattle. I have been a loyal customer here for year and for GOOD reason... the customer service is outstanding, everyone that works there knows so much about tanning, every time I have a question about tanning, or lotions or anything pertaining to the lack of Vitamin D us Seattlians get they know it all! The beds give great color and there is such a variety to get the exact tan you want. I was thrilled when I found out they got a Versa Spa, that thing is virtually impossible to screw up... a perfect sunless tan (natural looking to boot) each time. You cant go wrong with the great people, FREE PARKING! and great results

Great Service, clean salon, and free parking?!. The salon is really convenient, its right on capitol hill and it has a free parking lot right out front which is huge advantage. I'm usually a salon-hopper, always looking for the best deals, but I've been sticking with Solar Tan lately. Even though they're not the cheapest salon on the hill, I feel like I get a way better tan from them, not to mention the salon is way cleaner than any other salon around. I would definitely reccomend this place!

Wonderful customer service; great equipment and lotions; immaculate facility. I have been using this tanning salon for over two years after trying many others. I am continually impressed with the great service, knowledgeable and friendly employees, amazing variety of tanning bed options, great selection of lotions, and wonderfully clean facility. I can't imagine any place better!

Gross Experience.. I would NOT go here again. Their so called "High Pressure" bed, that is 30 bucks a pop, gave no color and everytime I used it had ATLEAST 3 bulbs burned out. The standup ALWAYS had bulbs out, and they would say "Oh, it gives the same color".. then why change the bulbs at all right? This place is so over priced for what you get. You get one fold out chair in a room, and no mirror. Someone who works there has a small dog that hangs out, because more then once there has been dog urine and feces just laying in the bathroom. The employees seem more interested with their iPODS then to actually talk about the packages that you are going to fork out for $200-300 dollars.. Bottom line, DONT waste your money.. Hell, even desert sun is better then this place.

long time customer...HIGHLY recommend!. I've been going to Solar Tan close to a decade and I cant imagine ever going anywhere else. Salon is always clean, staff always friendly, and the beds always give great color. The bulbs are consistantly changed and the beds are so well maintained that they're like tanning in a new bed. Love this place!

AMAZING tanning results!!!. all the employees are super friendly and the beds and lotions are great. i got all the color i needed for new years in just a couple of sessions in the orbit!
