Baby back ribs served with signature barbecue sauces are the hallmarks of this popular national chain. – In Short
This award-winning restaurant chain is known primarily for its baby back ribs, but through the 30-plus years since its flagship location opened in North Miami, the family-friendly menu has expanded to include barbequed chicken, char-grilled steaks, burgers, pasta, seafood and salads. All ribs are served with one of the accompanying sauces (Original, Carolina Honeys, Blue Ridge Smokies, Red Hots, or Honey-Chipotle), and two sides like coleslaw, fries, or a baked potato.
Overall great service, food and atmosphere! – We visited last week and was really delighted about choosing Tony Roma's as a spot for dinner. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress was also great! I think her name was Julia. She was extremely upbeat, helpful and went out of her. A very kid-friendly place as well!
Thanks for the great service!
Best happy hour, ribs to die for – Where can you get beer for 1.75! It's cheaper than coke! Ribs just fall off the bones. Few cuties work there too making it even more tasty.
Most flavorful ribs – We never we able to eat here as a familiy after the very first time because my mom always thought it was too overwhelming, but boy did she eat her words when we ate there again. The baby back ribs were to die for. Not only were they so flavorful but the meat just came off with such ease, none of the tug-o-war business when you're eating meat right off of the bone. Along with our ribs we also got a choice of two side orders. What's ribs without corn on the cob and mashed potoates. The ambiance was a great place for a group and family dining and the portions were not too much or too little, they were just right!
its great! – tony romas is the greatest! you cant beat the happy hour and the service is awesome. if you like meat then heres the place.
Awful Experience – Why did we stop in? Someone was craving meat, I recall. The schmoozy waiter was so overbearing I thought he was going to try to sell me a used car next. Looking around at our fellow diners, it was a snapshot of Hades. Idiots with no taste buds wolfing down adequate food. The food was actually not too bad, but I'll avoid it next time, really, I will.
Tastes like mom's oven ribs – I fail to understand the appeal of their ribs at all. They are overcooked, relatively tough and small. They taste very much like the ribs my mom used to bake in the oven. Go to 3 Pigs or Dixies, for example, and compare the ribs. I don't think you'll go back.
