Avoid This Place Like the Plague. Two redneck boors were sitting 4 stools apart (this is not a shaggy dog story). One came in after I did. They were having a loud conversation right across me, and when I suggested that they sit together, one asked, "Are we annoying you." I said, "Yes, I'm trying to listen to the TV, and you're rather loud in any event." Well, said Redneck #1, "Tough". Redneck #2, asked, "Where are you from?". "Why does it matter?" "Because you are an a-hole, and we don't like a-holes around here."

Well, OK, maybe you won't have the misfortune, but the kicker is that the barmaid (a real athletic, super-tanned lady) began agreeing with them. Also, the reader-board advertised Sierra Nevada, but they didn't have any. Also, the second she poured me a Manny's, she wanted the $4.50, and even though it was after 4:30 (Happy Hour).

In summary, the clientele are rude boors; the staff is less than competent and are not respectful of their clients. Sorry, I didn't get a chance to report on the food, but there are many superior places around; don't waste your time here. For instance, try Scott's in Shoreline/Edmonds. A real class act that we frequent often.

Great neighborhood dive!. Suprisingly good food, and strong drinks. Two pool tables, tourneys on Tue and Thurs.

Trivia on Mon and Free Bingo on Wed. Lots of fun. I love the deck outside. Definitely worth another visit.
