With its kid-friendly vibe, booth seating and late-night hours (most stores are open 24 hours), Denny's draws night owls, seniors and families with kids. The menu sticks to classic American staples: wings, chicken strips, burgers, salads and the like. But breakfast is king, with specialties ranging from skillets, egg scrambles, French toast platters and several variations on the famous Grand Slam: two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips and two sausage links.

A True Taste of Americana. The only problem with the Denny chain is that quality of food and service can greatly vary from restaurant to restaurant. The Denny's in Shoreline falls into the high qualuty catagory with friendly staff and good, no nonsense food at reasonable prices. Denny's also offers even cheaper senior and children's menus. Try finding that at your trendy Downtown, dietary fad-of-the-moment restaurant. Dennys has been around for years and is sure to be here when the hip restaurants are long forgotten.
