Bick's the Best Food in Broadview – I don't know why I have not done this before, but my husband and I have been going to Bick's for years. I invite friends and family there whenever I can. The food is always excellent and is a good value. Dan always give us a big smile and a welcome back, and the service from the staff is excellent. I love the crab cakes, corn bread, flat top chicken, and the filet special is always awesome. They have some good wines by the glass that make the meal special. Thanks Dan for being our "neighborhood spot"!
WOW!!!! What a GREAT SUPRISE!!! – We like to try new places to eat at least once a month.... We where driving home down Greenwood from South of GreenLake, trying to find some where to eat... Every place we came across was either really busy or didn't look appetizing... Alomost giving up and going home we came across Bicks.... We ordered a bunch of the small plates...Our usual way of trying a new place out. Anyway.. What a treat!!!! Everthing was just a trill to eat and full of great flavor, and the drinks .... FUN!! FUN!! FUN!!
Darn Good! – Past, burgers, salads, fish and more. It's all darn good, and there's plenty on each plate. Not the cheapest place in town, but well worth the price. One of our favorite places, you can't go wrong with the food, and the people are great.
All time favorite restaurant – My hubby and I eat here at least once a week and always have the best dinner. The servers are exceptional and always greet us at the door. Try the firestarter appetizer, flat top chicken, the burger and the mussels are just some of our favorites. The specials are always good too! I tell everyone that lives in the north-end about Bicks!
great food, great service – If you're looking for a great steak dinner that won't break the bank, try their sirloin steak w/gorgonzola and mushrooms. I ordered mine medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. It was so tender and juicy I forgot I was eating sirloin, not filet mignon. I've had steaks that cost 2 or 3X more than theirs and did not taste half as good. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. I topped the dinner off with the blackberry cobbler 'a la mode. It was a nice balance of tart and sweet. The only thing that did not impress me was the flatbread appetizer with habanero salsa. I expected the flatbread to have more flavor. You would definitely not want to eat it without the salsa or various hot sauces at your table. To me, it was just a transfer device to put the salsa and hot sauce in my mouth. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Barely touched my dinner and was never asked why.
Didn't box up my full meal, only the meat portion.
Creme burlee trio was warm and not set up properly.
Coffe never refilled.
All in all, won't be back.
No matter how good your food might be, I would think the owner would take care that this isn't a trend.
One of our Favorite Spots! – Phenomenal neighborhood choice when you want good, quality, and inexpensive food but you don't want typical pub grub. Bick's is good for those who stick with the menu basics as well as those who like trying new and exciting entrees. Recommended!!!!
Modern fusion with something for everyone at a sleek Greenwood locale. – The Scene
Expect legions of professionals looking for a little down time amidst sleek halogen lamps juxtaposed with natural woods and high-backed booths. Servers offer suggestions and bustle around, but the real talent comes out in keeping kids happy while their parents relax.
The flavors can be summed up in a single word: bold. The menu offers selections under the headings "Eat Light" and "Eat Hearty." Flavors are all over the map: everything from a Tuscan-inspired risotto to fusion-style rock-shrimp spring rolls. The "house" burger consists of ground chuck, caramelized onions, avocados, roasted poblano and bell peppers, fresh salsa and jack cheese on a kaiser roll. A cornmeal-crusted oyster club sandwich also scored high marks. The kitchen also works well with local seafood, including Penn Cove mussels in a coconut/red curry broth and chipotle-rubbed salmon steak served atop a succulent mound of mashers.
Eat the Heat – Bicks is my favorite spot to dine north of 85th. I've never had a meal there that wasn't original and delicious. Contrary to some reports on this site, I've never had bad service. I hosted a birthday party there on a weekday for a group of 14 people and the wait staff graciously accommodated our party and the extras that straggled in. Because it's one of the only nicer places to meet in the neighborhood, Bicks is often really busy and crowded but the ambiance is still relaxed, fun, and non-pretentious. Local celebrities, average Joes, professionals, and families enjoy the amazing food shoulder to shoulder. The manager, Dan, will work hard to make your visit memorable.
My Favorite Restaurant – My girlfriend saw this recommended by Rachel Rey (the Food Network lady) last year. We tried it out and have been going back at least once a month ever since. The Thai Curry mussel appetizer is the best. Haven't had anything on the menu that I wouldn't order again. The food is all very interesting and tasty. The service is really friendly. They do reservations, have a good beer menu, and great, surprising specials.
