Pizza-delivery giant features hot, fresh pies delivered in signature HeatWave bags. – In Short
Operating since 1960, Domino's is best known for its delivery service and pizzas arrive hot, thanks to the company's plugged-in HeatWave delivery-bag technology. Build your own pie--add toppings to either Ultimate Deep Dish, Crunchy Thin Crust or Classic Hand Tossed styles--or select a Feast Pizza, like the MeatZZa Feast, topped with pepperoni, ham, beef and Italian sausage. Build a meal with side orders like Amazin' Greens salads, Buffalo Chicken Kickers and Cinna Stix.
This place should probably be investigated. – When I read the negative reviews I was skeptical. It's Dominoes. There all the same. How bad could it be? Unbelievably bad is the answer. Like the other reviewer I got terrible phone service. Ridiculously terrible. I won't even go into details, though, since the story gets so much more bizarre. When the pizzas arrived and I paid the $28 tab with 2 20's, (this Dominoes only takes cash btw!), the delivery guy told me he didn't have change. Huh?? To make it worse he said it as though he half expected me to just give him the $12 tip! When I offered to give him a check, he got flustered and pushed his way through the door to grab back the pizzas. I tried to tell him that taking a check was better than taking the damn pizzas back to the store, but he nearly started crying and mumbling about being afraid of getting deported! This is not a joke. I have not yet emailed Dominoes customer service, and frankly don?t feel like I have the energy. At any rate, I won't be surprised when I see this place on the news some night soon. Stay away.
Horrible service, horrible pizza, horrible price – I ordered the 2 med pizza w/ 2 toppings plus liter of Coke for about $19.82. The man who answered in barely coherent English didn't ask me what kind of crust I wanted, so I had to make a point of asking for a thin crust. Then he asked if I wanted to donate a $1 to a children's charity, and when I didn't (I donate directly, not through pizza joints!) he sounded angry. My order arrived after 45 minutes (though the shop is only 3 blocks away), with thick crust. The pizza was fluffy and tasteless. The Coke was so watery I am sure they poured out half and added water to it. I called them to complain and they the man said he would send me another thin crust pizza for free. 1 hour later, I realize he's not going to do anything about it after all.
