Multiple trips, but still problems with car. Went here to get my brake pads replaced (since there was squeaking noises) and was attracted by the $25 off coupon in my mail.

My car came back making a whirling sound every time I use the brakes. After calling them back to see what the problem was, i was informed that they used the wrong lathe on my rotors. I asked what could be done to fix this and they said that they did not know when their lathe would be repaired by. After complaining to their corporate customer service desk, they agreed to replace my rotors for free.

After getting the new rotors, the whirling went away, but the squeaking came back and another new noise was discovered. I took it back again (the third time) and they said it was my rear wheel bearing. Another ~$350. I called around to other shops to get quotes and it seemed to check out so I had them do the work while I was out of town. Now, my car squeaks AND makes whirling noises when I brake. When I brought it back in a fourth time, the manager seemed very annoyed at me for bringing the car back and said that it's just because of the new brake pads. Yeah right! I requested that they do another inspection and they said they could not find anything wrong - that perhaps the noises were caused by something else. I've had this car for 7 years - it's never made these noises.

Watch out!. Went to Firestone to get an alignment... not only did they take 2 hours with no courtesy call, they said the car was unalignable and that it needed new inner tie rods... their estimate was (~$500). I had just spent $200.00 on a new car inspection including a diagnostic test for this problem. Skeptical, I took the car into tru-line and as suspected, the car did not need new inner tie rods at all and probably won't need them for another 2 years. Beware of Firestone diagnostics they are con artists!!!

They saw us coming......RIP OFF!!. Took our car in for brake shoes, they came back with a quote for all kinds of stuff....$1100 worth to be exact. We let them do the brakes as we didn't want to chance it...$350 for brake pads and brake fluid...ahhhh!! We called around a couple of places for the other problems Firestone made us aware of and got the problems fixed for a third of the price at Les Schwab. The most annoying was they charged double the price for the same parts then instead of the $17.00 labour at Les Schwab they wanted to charge us $100. They also wanted to charge us $100 for a tire alignment where as Les Schwab charged $50. Oh and $40 to change a break light....please!! All in all I feel like people have a ligitimate reason to worry about garages like these, they definitley take advantage. Awful Awful Awful, stay away from Firestone!!

Unwavering customer service. I've been going to this Firestone for 4 years and have never regretted it. They do get busy, but knowing that they will never take you for a ride like so many other mechanics out there is worth the wait. The only reason I don't give them a 10 is that they have made some mistakes when fixing our car, but they ALWAYS took care of it quickly without question or hesitation, so I still feel confident taking my car to them.

Great Place. I was in a bind and they really helped me out. The manager there, Chris Palazzolo, got my car right in and out. The price was fair and the over all service was outstanding. I have finally found a place that I can trust to get my car fixed and maintained at.
