Citysearch Editorial Review – The many years that Thai Thai has lived in this former fast food restaurant don’t seem to have worn away the looks of the outside. Inside, however, you are transported to a Thai home, decorated in royal purple with bamboo screens and ubiquitous (in Thailand) pictures of the king and queen. Staff is helpful and friendly, which is good, since the menu is endless—full of options for all types of eaters. The set menus of full meals in the back are by far the best deals, but some of the best food comes from the array of salads in the front, including an unbelievable squid salad. And if you order it spicy, be prepared to get what you asked for! While there isn’t much around Thai Thai and the outside, with bars on the windows, doesn’t look very inviting, don’t be afraid; good food is held within.
Hidden gem – Sam and fam have been in this location a long time and on any given night you'll see a parade of locals coming in the door. especially good are the panang curry, kee mao noodles, and garlic green beans.
if you're like me, ask for 'no msg' when you order.
