Great place – This is not a fast food place so expect to relax and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere while waiting for your food.

Guiness on tap, great onion rings, steak, burger and Irish stew. It is one of our favorite places to eat. Potato cheese soap is great and very rich. We have not been there when it is at peak capacity but service has always been fine. This is a speciality restaurant in a small tourist town, chill out!

Don't eat at this restaurant – You will be very disappointed by the food that you are served. Don't order the Shepards pie, it tastes like it came out of a box and the I have never seen Corn Beef served like that in my life with everything on the side on a hamburger bun? Why are they afraid to put the ingredients together? And don't forget the grease chips, they don't even look appetizing. And to be told by the owner to get out and to never come back when they won't do anything about the bad food is the most appalling thing I have ever seen. Are the bouncer's just their because the food is so bad? What kind of a restaurant is this anyway? I think one that should no longer be in business!

Delicious food - Atomosphere wonderful!!! – We had a wonderful dining experience at the Galway Pub and Restaurant in Ocean Shores, Wa.

The food was wonderful and the waiter was gracious!!! We would definitely make it a "must" whenever we are in Ocean Shores!! I wish there was one in our home town! We had the Sheperd's pie and Brodie Faire and they were delicious.

Worst restaurant experience I ever had – I never before wrote a restaurant review, but I feel that I need to tell this story to enable other people to avoid the same unpleasant experience. Over St. Patrick's Day weekend we stayed in Ocean Shores and naturally we had to check out it's only Irish Pub. Saturday night we got there late and found a full house listening to a live musician. It took quite a while before a waiter came and took our drink orders. It took even longer to get them, but we attributed it to the busy house. When we got ready to have another beer, the pub has cleared out by now, and our waiter has changed. We never were asked whether we need something else and had to call for the waiter to get another drink. There were three tables left who had customers by now. We still gave them the benefit of the doubt, and thought maybe things got mixed up with the waiter change. Next day we came back around 1p.m. for a quick lunch. We ordered soups, salad and drinks, and waited well over 90 min before our food arrived. Again no one checked on us, or came to explain why the food takes so long. We decided not to leave a tip and a comment that the service was really slow. On our way out our waiter (who turned out to be the restaurant manager) flagged us down, not to apologize but to yell at us for our impertinence. He said it says it clearly in the menu, that this is not a fast-food establishment and they were really busy. We said it should not take 2 h to get lunch and we experienced the same service last night when it was really slow. His answer was " Are you f...... kidding me? Get the f... out of here. We don't want our money!" (which apparently they do want as we did not get our money back). He wasn't using the ....... in his speech. I was absolutely speechless, something like this has never happened to me before and I will never be back to this place.

Always a "must stop" for us – Maybe slightly on the expensive side for the food, but it is good. We just love the atmosphere and the friendly people that work there. A trip to Ocean Shores isn't complete without a visit to Galway Bay.

Clam Chowder lovers!! – This place is just great!! If you ever go there you have to have the clam chowder!! It has been voted the best years in a row. It is worth the drive to get a taste of the chowder. The people there are great too!!!
