Disappointed. My family and I visited this restaurant on a recent Saturday evening (June '06) based upon a recommendation. The waitress was patient & helpful. The onion rings were quite good and the salad fresh and attractive. However, out of four dinners, only one of us was pleased;our oldest daughter had a chicken dish that was quite good. The remaining dinners were very disappointing. As the ambience was quite stark, we had hoped that at $15/meal, the food would represent the price paid. Flavor was average at best and the portion sizes small; none of us could eat the cole slaw. We left the restaurant after a $68.00 bill, not counting tip, and felt that what we ate was worth no more than $10.00/person for the quality received. We will not go back.

Great Food. Since I have found this place I have been going at least once a week for lunch, it is close and very convenient for me. The food is great and I have not had any problems with the service. The New owners are making big improvements for the entire place.

We thought the food was good. My family went - due to the apparently dreaded Entertainment Coupon - and everyone enjoyed their meal. Except, me, because the only thing I wanted on the menue sold out one customer before. However, despite that, the rest of the gang had no complaints and the portions were fairly large.

I wouldn't take a visiting dignitary there, but we'll likely stop by again.
