Too much turnover – although the stylists I had did a pretty good job-when I would make my appointments within 3 months the stylist would be gone-within a year I was trying 3-4 different stylist because of the turnover. I have not returned only because I want somone who is going to be there the next time I return.
A Special thank you to the spa at 22 changes – Thak you 22 changes, Cara is an excellent stylist. I am so grateful to find a new salon to go to. Your facility is so clean and well organized, I will recommend 22 changes to all my friends and family and look forward to a long relationship. What I realy appreciate is the well mannered, professional staff.
Again, thank you and see you soon
Best FACIAL I've had in a long time.... – I've had many many many facials over the years - my recent facial with Nina was by far one of the best I've ever had. My facial was 90min and she stayed with me and worked on me the entire time. For example, when my face had the mask application - when most leave the room for 10 or so minutes - while the application soaks in --- Nina stayed and massaged my feet and hands, neck, etc. I felt like that was the best treatment I've had in a long time. It was such a nice experience - I recommend Nina for sure!!!
What a Surprise!! – I had my last hair dresser retire after doing my hair for 10 years, I was looking for a place to get my hair done and a friend told me about 22 Changes. I was scared to see someone new but I called and made the appointment. The girl on the phone was so nice, I stated to get excited about my appointment. Then they called me to remind me I had an appointment. Cool! I was surprised at how big the place is, and everyone was so friendly. I wanted to try out a new color and took some time to decide, my girl Cara was so helpful and patient, and she made my hair look amazing. The color turned out better than I expected. I went to get my hair cut next and the guy who did it was awsome! He was great about helping me figure out the best cut for me and after he finished I diddnt look like the same woman. I love these guys and will be sending all my girlfriends.
Good Hair Cuts & Spa – I love the clean, cozy atmosphere and get good service for hair cuts (especially by Crystal - she's been there a long time and trains others), and great massages in the spa. Had a bad experience with hair color though, so I go somewhere else for that. Surprised that recently they changed from no tipping to tipping, and they seem to expect it now.
The Fast Food of Salons – I have been going to this salon for approximately 20 years. In all those years I have seen many changes. This use to be a salon where I felt that they cared about my experience. Lately I have felt like just another number. If I wanted that experience I would go to Great Clips. I don't feel like I get the care or the service that is expected with the high prices that they are now charging. This salon use to be a "non-tipping" salon. They recently went to tipping, which I thought was wonderful! However, not only did they not notify their clientele that this was going to be an option, but I was informed by several of their employees that the owners are taking anywhere from 20% - 25% off the top BEFORE taxes of their employee's tips!!! I was told it was for MAINTENANCE FEES!!! WHAT B/S!!! When I tip my stylists and colorists I am tipping them!
from cut to color to wax - I trust them – I get the best cuts ever, I was going to a salon paing $250 + and went to 22 Changes after being tired of having nothing extraordinary for my money. I fell in love! The stylist are great, the spa is awesome! The only problem I have ran into is my color takes a long time - one of the young ladies is a little slow but does a great job
Best Massage – I had a great massage from a massuse named Mary. First time gong there. The place was comfy and not stuffy at all. The service was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Don't go there for Hair Color – I had four appointment with 22 Changes.
Apointment #1: Spectacular. Cut and color just right
Apointment #2: Went for color touch up and went home with purple/magenta roots (should have been brown
Appointment #3: Return to fix color problem on roots. Had to use a dark brown to color the red. Lived with it until the next appointment
Appointment #4: Returned for all over color an weave, expecting same results from Apppointment #1. While in the hair cutters chair, it was immediately obvious the person forgot to do my roots. Did weave only. Had to return to color chair to have a different color specialist finish the job.
So not worth the $125ish color and cut!
They can fix anything! – I had a horrible at home hair dye expierence that turned my hair a greenish brown. I had called and visited other salons and they were snobish, or said they could do little to help. Then I found 22 Changes. Before the stylist corrected the green hair we had a lengthly consultation. I felt completely confident in the stylist's ability after the consultation. The stylist was able to correct the green by going a tad bit darker, and then she added blonde highlights. In the end my hair turned out fantastic. About a week later I went back for a cut and it was the 2nd best cut I had ever had. I won't go anywhere else!
