User review by sarcasticruffian. Best music of any bar in MKE. People who go there are chill and down-to-earth (no annoying frat boys or scenesters). Great location. Awesome bartenders. If you're looking to just hang out with some friends and keep it low-key, this is the place to go. If you want to act obnoxious and try to pick up someone to take home with you, you'll probably want to stay put at Water St.

Brit pop dream. A fantastic place to go in a great location. The cd/jukebox contains most of my cd library, and Scooby Doo/Cartoon Network is usually playing on the brick wall. Low-key, college+ crowd makes it a great place to go with friends. Not a meat market, not a pool hall; just a Euro-feel Milwaukee pub. On the rare occasion they have live music, you can bet it will rock.

The Best Pub In Town. Dark oak and brick, dim lighting, inexpensive drinks, pool, Britpop, and a projection tv that never plays sports... I love this place, you can unwind with a drink and a smoke, crank up the Stone Roses and chill with your friends. Unfortunately people are beginning to catch on, and I fear that soon it will be overrun. For now however, the college crowd keeps it real, and the atmosphere keeps it a manditory nightspot.
