Straight, gay, whatever. It's incredibly chill and fun. – This place was AMAZING. I came here on a Friday night with my friend while fairly drunk. Even though I think everyone in the bar realized we were straight, we socialized with nearly everyone there, played some cheesy tunes like Miley Cyrus and Real McCoy and had a good time overall. If you're looking for a nice fun place to go to and put down a few drinks in the Bay View area and want a place where the chochbag factor is zero, you're gonna wanna come here.

My BF and I like it – I am editing this review because I am very sad. This place is the only gay bar in Milwaukee where I was comfortable. They sold the bar in June 2010 after five years in business. I will miss them.............. I have fun here, that's all that matters. I could nit pick about any place, but the bottom line is that I go out to have a good time and that is what I have. I never run into the stuck up queens from downtown at this place. I've been here when it was busy and when it's slow, but always have a good time. Hooray!

I am the real CapnChaos – I saw the lousy reviews and noticed that someone using my name wrote a review, so I had to go to this place myself to see what was going on. It was on a Thursday and the $2 beers and rail drinks were served up by a really friendly bartender named Randy. I had just come from one of the dead bars downtown and found this bar to be packed. Randy introduced me to many of the people. This corner bar had a mixed crowd of gay men, women, and a few straight people. Finally, a gay bar without attitude. They only cared that their customers had fun. Did I ever have fun. I was welcomed by the pool players and the dart slingers as well as a bunch of other newbies at the bar. I even met this old dude from DC that was unlucky in love that night. I didn't eat their pizza, but I sat next to someone that was eating the stretchy cheesy pizza. They said that it was really good. If I would have listened to the previous reviews, I would have missed out on a great night. Listen to the real CapnChaos and try this place out.

A great place to do your homework. – I don't know what to make of this place. I went there on a whim with some friends on a Saturday around 11pm and it was like a morgue! They have a sweet internet jukebox but the volume is set so low it's not worth the high price to play it. According to the bartender many genres of music are blocked as well. What's the point? They have a photo booth that is too expensive for what you get... a free shot of cheap house booze if you give them one of the photos.

As a neighborhood bar, they're trying to hard be something they're not. Drinks are overpriced and although the bartender denied it, my shot of Jose Cuervo was definitely watered down.

I don't recommend this place. The atmosphere stinks, and they water down their liquors. It's a definite RIP OFF.

This place is bad news. – I stopped going to this bar even though it's right on my way home. One owner is always drunk off his gourd and hits on anyone and the other always complains how we customers want everything for free. Nobody goes there anymore because of them. They have one cool dude who works there on thursday nites. Its rare to see someone even finish their drink because of the tall skinny drunk guy with glasses who ruins the fun by hitting on the guys. He's a total creep. The drinks are expensive, and I honestly swear they water down the good liquors. They have a decent happy hour (two for one drinks) but I'd rather go out of my way to have a better time to unwind after a long day.
