Appallingly rude service. My husband and I recently took out-of-town family to this restaurant, a (former) favorite of ours. We had always loved the food, etc. We were extremely embarrassed to be treated so rudely by both the staff and the owners. We had one young child with us (very, very well behaved), and we arrived and asked for a high chair/booster, we were told quite bluntly by the bartender (whom we understand to be part of the owner-family) that the restaurant did not encourage children to dine there. We were 9 adults with one child! The owner grudgingly provided us with a highchair and then treated us very poorly the rest of the night. Unbelievable. Will never go back.

The best romantic treat in Milwaukee. Scotty's Crab House is a quaint little gourmet restaurant tucked in a residential neighborhood just north of Downtown. You can have anything from Oysters Rockefeller to Crawfish cakes to trout. It's a romantic setting that give you great food while paying attention to every little detail to ensure a wonderful evening. It's an experience that is surprising to find in Milwaukee.
