Best Korean Fusion in LA – Fusion Korean food, amazing appetizers, no carbs and cook it yourself quality marinated beef. Must try the Cod and for desert the Zavine (putting) or chocolate volcano.

Great ambiance and food – I tried Woo Lae Oak for the first time because of the great offer from Groupon. Woo Lae Oak is surrounded by a lot of great shopping and dining. Places like Lawry's, Benihana's, and the Beverly Center.

My bf and I arrived around 6:30 on a Saturday and the place wasn't very full. We ordered the Galbi and the Black Cod. Both were FANTASTIC. The prices are a bit high for Korean food, but the atmosphere and quality of the food makes up for the high costs. The Galbi plate wasn't that large, but the Cod was worth the money.

I would give 5 stars if there was more meat for the cost.

Amazing – In short:

The staff is amazing, and the food is even better. There is a lot to choose from, but the ostrich is fantastic - you really should give it a try. Our dinners always end up lasting hours because it's so enjoyable. Definitely one of my favorite LA dining spots.

Great Food,Great Service,Great Ambiance – I starting coming to this place about a year ago and every time I go, it gets better! The food is incredible. It is great for date night because the lighting is great with the hight ceilings and fire place. Sometimes I go and sit at the bar with a friend, they are so friendly, we always chat it up with the bartender. Surprisingly enough, I always see celebrities here as well. It's always a good conversation starter. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fresh, Clean, Modern, Sexy, Fun! – Woo Lae Oak is probably one of my favorite restaurants on Restaurant Row! Woo Lae Oak has the freshest ingredients and plenty of options for the health conscious diner. They have happy hour specials every day.

This is by far the best Korean BBQ in town. There is something for everyone because there are healthy options and a menu for vegetarians and a variety of food such as poultry, meat, veggie, and fish. The last two times I ate there, I saw Gwen Stefani and Gavin with their two little kids!

Best quality meat, lean, delicious, healthy! – If you are a health nut like me, you will love Woo Lae Oak BH. They have the cleanest food ... low fat, healthy, and delicious. Love eating here.

Best quality meat! – My mom is usually very picky about her meat quality (fat-meat ratio, chewyness, etc), so this is one of the few Korean BBQ places she's willing to go. The owner is often there and after going there a few times, you'll get to know her. She gives us complimentary desserts (which, btw, look and taste quite amazing).

Worst Korean Food – I'm Korean and have to say this is the worst Korean restaurant I've ever been to. While the ambience is nice, the food is subpar with small portions and the price is ridiculous when you can get much better food for half the cost.

Gourmet Korean fare served in high-gloss surroundings along Beverly Hills' Restaurant Row. – In Short
This sleek, industrial space, decorated with hanging scrolls and kite-like light fixtures sets the scene for the "Nouveau Korean" cuisine that's served to the local power set not willing to make the trek to K-Town. Meals begin with appetizers such as Korean sushi and crepe-wrapped Dungess crab with leeks and mustard sauce. Traditional entrees include chestnut-stuffed chicken breast or black cod in sweet garlic sauce, though the barbecue, like the dae ji (spicy pork) and the kal bi (boneless short rib) is the main attraction. A selection of soups, sides, rice dishes and desserts round out the menu.
