Great Vibe – Love love LOVE the upstairs area of the Baltic room. If you don't feel like dancing there are comfy booths upstairs, candlelit lighting with an intimate feel. Stars light the ceiling and the DJ's are usually right on. Very hip and very lush-good bartenders and service.
Capitol Hill club lures crowds with ambience, sexy people and top-notch DJs. – The Scene
Seattleites are known for casual clothing, but the Baltic Room is one of those places that people dress up for. Luxurious mohair booths provide perfect perches for groups of friends to soak in the energetic vibe, the drinks and the blazing DJs. The club's low lighting and twinkling fiber-optic stars are both flattering and relaxing.
Its strength is in the booking; in addition to fantastically themed nights featuring everything from bhangra to beat-bop, the club brings in musical legends like Goldie and Grandmaster Flash. For single women, it's a fun, safe place to meet good-looking guys who can dance. For men, the draw is as obvious, as there's no shortage of cute, multiethnic females. Although straight folks are definitely in the majority, this is also a very gay-friendly establishment.
I "Heart" Shiva... – Baltic Room has the best selection of world dance music. A bit larger dance floor would be better, but the dj's playlist and the beautiful large wooden bar make Baltic Room a great place to play.
Looks great-but is it? – I love and hate this place. Great atmosphere, good drinks and great music. But something about when the clock hits midnight and all of sudden the tiny little dance floor is unbelievably packed, throngs of men who should be a the J&M swarm in and it takes way too long to get a drink. Go early or during the week, get a table and enjoy the good service, music and drinks and interesting people watching. Stay home on a Friday or Saturday night.
Tuesday Night DnB!!! – Tuesday nights at Baltic Room are quite fun. I mean, they bring in great DnB DJs/producers like Andy C, Dom and Roland, Stakka and Skynet, and etc, what more can I say? The thing I liked the best was that the music was just slammin'. I'm not sure how it is on other nights.
love the deco grillework... – ...and the red walls and the pinlights on the ceiling. Gorgeous room, great music. Even when it's crowded, it's not hard to get a drink if you just step up and ASK for it, people. The main floor is smallish, but the upstairs balcony is a nice area to escape to and relax.
Cool place – This is a cool place with different types of music every night. They actually take some effort to bring in acts and pay attention to the music rather than just provide a place of horny people to get drunk and get laid. Nice cozy atmosphere upstairs.
Always fun... – Baltic Room always has a mixed crowd and good music. One of the best clubs in Seattle.
Magnificient Maktub – Very cool place, love the balcony area, great music, everyone very nice
friday rocks! – This place rocks on fridays with live band as well as DJ spinning some real good hip music. The drinks are a little strong but the atmosphere is so much better than rest of the bars. I have been to almost every dance club in seattle in the two years I have been in seattle and this is the place I would like to hang out with my friends, having a drink or a fun night out dancing all night. The staff are really cool too.
