Great sound and picture.... .... in a city with so little to offer in the way of a/v in theaters. Coming from the Bay Area, theaters in Seattle are atrocious. Yes, the Cinerama may be a great place, but it's been showing 'Narnia' forever. Thus, the Uptown stands out as a great theater to see a picture in Seattle, and its movie choices are good ones.

Friendly neighborhood theater. What Uptown lacks in parking, sound quality and comfort, it makes up for with its movie selections and the more personable feel of the theatre. A great place to catch an independent flick.
