A classic, with all the classic bistro dishes. Lovely outdoor seating on Belden Place.

Excellent Comfort Food – Great place for good, reasonable priced French Cafe food. I love going for the pate, casserole and a glass of wine. Service is friendly and efficient. Only suggestion would be to make the seats more comfortable (please add cushions!).

C'est Magnifique – The atmosphere, the food--I wish I could eat here every week.

Drink, don't eat – Always used to hang out here on Friday nights for drinks, occasionally had Saturday lunch. The food is alright, but it's more fun to drink and listen to the music on Friday nights. Prices are not bad. Rafael is a great bartender. When the weather is nice in the evening, it's great to sit outside.

Non, merci – This restaurant was recommended by an ex-patriot and we were looking forward to the meal.

The ambiance was great- the food was poor.

What the table had:

Mussels were tasteless. The fries were nothing to rave about. The boudin had no flavor. The potato cassarole, also flavorless. The apple crisp dessert tasted like glue. The dessert crepes were passable.

All in all, a very disappointing meal.

A Tale of Two Cities of Light – A friend said the alleyway reminded her of a restaurant she'd eaten at in London. I think they get that a lot, people saying the restaurant reminds them of somewhere in Europe.

The food is delicious, leaning towards traditional French bistro fare. The crepes are very tasty, as are the various fish on the menu.

The outdoor location is ideal for spring and summer weather, but if you plan to dine there during high winds or rain, you won't be comfortable and run the risk that the patio won't be open at all. The inside area is quite tiny, making this a very fair weathered friend of a restaurant.

The waitstaff has been described as hurried and harried, but if you get there early enough you shouldnt have a problem. Order drinks from the fully stocked bar or pair the food with their wine list.
