Nice place great comedy loved David The Voice Stein – It was a great overall experience the comedians were great. My favorite was David The Voice stein. He was great!
Great entertainment...and a bargain, too! – I saw a recent CCL show with a large group of people, ranging in age from 11 to 55...EVERYONE LOVED IT!
The performers were incredibly sharp, witty and professional....the venue was small, so everyone in the audience had the opportunity to participate. I could not believe the level of entertainment we got for such a reasonable price...beats anything else we've done in months.
Funny! Funny! Funny! – I see a lot of comedy, mostly Improv, in NYC, Chicago and elsewhere. Let me tell you, these guys are the real deal. They are funny, smart and topical. Try as I did to stump them with my suggestions, they kept hitting the ball out of the park. They even created an entire musical based on a story told by an audience member -- me!
Best Comedy Show In Town – I see a lot of comedy shows, everything from Broadway to little holes in the wall in Brooklyn. This is the best show I've seen in years. The actors are quick-witted, and they actually have interesting, informed point of views. They kept me and my guests laughing all night long. The highlight is a 20 minute musical, complete with overture, songs and book, that they make up on the spot after talking to a customer about a recent event in their lives! The price is right, and this may just be the best deal in town. The club is cozy and friendly. Who could ask for anything more?
Not worth your time – I went there on a thursday night with my date. I'd read reviews on this website which said the show was hilarious. So I decided to give it a try instead of going to Comic Strip Live as I usually do. Well, to put it simply, very bad decision. This place stinks!
For starters, there were only about 10 people in the audience. Of those I'm quite sure 2 were planted to laugh at every lame joke and act as though they were having a grand ol time. The skits weren't funny, the song and dance numbers were horrible. I sat through the show for 1 1/2 hours wondering why I'd just burned $60. Booze selection was very limited as well so I couldn't even drown my disgust in alcohol!
I'm Still Laughing – This has to be the funniest show in town. The 4 amazing actors work wonders, taking audience suggestions to create hysterical comedy right before your eyes. I've been back 4 times and each has been a fantastic experience.
The best show in town – I think Chicago City Limits is the best show in town. There is no better laugh value for your money. These performers are the real deal. Catch them now so you can say you knew them when. Don't miss this show!!!
Hilarious! – I laughed so hard, I cried (for more!)! I love the new space and the drinks!! I would recommend seeing them again and again. I'm bringing back my boyfriend next week! I love the part when they get a story from the audience and turn it into a musical.
Chicago City Limits – This is a truely great show. I've seen improvisation all over the world and this is by far the best! Smart and funny!
LOL – This show is so funny! It's great improve and done very well!! I went a bunch of times. One time it was not as funny as the other times. A good audience helps!
