Tennessee isn't just about country music; it's about the country as well. This rambling ranch home gives travelers an opportunity to experience some of the state's natural beauty. At the same time, popular sights such as Opryland and the Hermitage are close by.

The Details
The two-suite inn sits on an old stagecoach route in the foothills of central Tennessee. Antique art and furnishings set the tone. Staying here is all about relaxation, so don't expect computers, fax machines and the like. The innkeeper made a concession to the modern world with TVs and phones in the suites, but otherwise, this is a flashback to an earlier era. Just check out the 1950s and 1960s record collection. Upon your arrival, the innkeeper will prepare a meal for you. Nightly turndown service and breakfast add to the personal touch.
