It is a great German town, make reservations at a bed and breakfast! Lots of shops to walk through and you can even camp in the city park! It is right on the Missouri river.

Founded in 1836 by German settlers, Hermann has become a popular weekend getaway for harried St. Louisans. This quaint village on the banks of the Missouri River about 70 miles west of St. Louis is well known for its wine, the most famous of which comes from award-winning and historic Stone Hill Winery.
