A reliable institution for beautiful local farm food and excellent service, wine and cocktails. If fois gras is on the menu I don't pass it up here. Fish and game like quail always a winner. Don't skip dessert!

There's a reason this is a Michelin star, James Beard winning restaurant. Make sure to get the Mezze platter, the chef's grandma's recipe!

Zero Stars. Our reservation was for 8pm. We arrived at 8pm. We ordered at 8:10. We started eating our entrees at 9:20!! Unacceptable wait regardless of the following bull crap.

The food was fine. Nothing special. $144 for 1.5 scallops, 4oz of venison and 6oz of beef tenderloin. Definitely not worth the price.

Here's where the problem started... I made the mistake of trying to use an expired $80 Groupon ($40 purchase price). WHICH THE PURCHASE PRICE NEVER EXPIRES. EVERYONE knows this! The manager of Naha has ZERO honor and integrity as a businessman and Chicagoan because he refused the Groupon and insisted he would not honor it regardless of what it said on the Groupon or in the fine print. I was told that, "I needed to take it up with Groupon and get my money back from them". When I asked him to put the rejection of the Groupon in writing to ensure I got my money back from Groupon directly... he refused. Pretty shady... Per his own admission he is the one who initiated the original deal with Groupon and knowing the agreement with Groupon that the purchase value of a Groupon NEVER EXPIRES he STILL refused to honor my Groupon. After I paid the check in cash in full they actually had the nerve when I was walking out to ask me, "why you got to be like that?" When I got home and looked up their website the woman who made that comment was the head chef. Seriously? Her exact words I swear to God. I just wanted them to do the right thing and honor their commitments. They further went on to explain to me that "We'll never see you here again..." No sh!t !!! I would never go back in that place again. There are literally dozens of other places (within 500 yards of Naha) that are better to dine at and which are more reasonably priced with better service in which you don't have to wait one hour to actually eat. If you want a true four star dining experience go elsewhere. Go to Naha if you want an over priced, mediocre meal from a dishonorable business manager and chef. I've never been treated with such disrespect. I'm not sure they even understand the concept of honor or "the customer is always right", let alone what a contractual agreement is. It would be different if I was rude about things or didn't read to them verbatim what it said right on the Groupon that they admittedly and knowingly established. I was polite, logical and calm through the entire ordeal. All over a measly $40. Pathetic and shameful.

Naha's been around forever...for good reason. Ever evolving menu, focus on seasonal ingredients, airy & elegant space. Great for a splurge.

Too Expensive – The prices are too high. The food was fine but the service was just okay. It is close to my office so I wind up there with clients from time to time but always feel like the tab was too high. There are other places around that are a better value and have more table space for doing business over a meal.

Not Impressed – I went here during restaurant week and was not impressed with the food or service. The waiter never even came over to ask how our meal was. I ordered the squash soup which was bland. For my main course, I ordered the lamb which had flavors that did not work.

Naha- unimaginative and uninspired – Went to Naha with a business associate the other day, and was incredibly disappointed with the level of cuisine. We ordered a very sub-par eggs benedict which lacked both creativity and inspiration. The halibut was a pathetic execution of unsophisticated flavors and condiments. And the quail had way too much salt. There are a lot of places that have the pretense of refinement and innovation, and Naha is one of them. The service was fine, but the cuisine was sorely lacking. This is indeed a sad thing. Naha has a wonderful decor, but it neglects what is of paramount importance to a dining experience- the food.

Time after time, i've heard the same thing by savvy diners- Naha is really not a great restaurant. For real cuisine, do yourself a favor and venture out to Tallgrass in Lockport. This is cuisine executed at its finest.

Naha is simply pathetic.

Great ambiance and better fod – I love Naha! Very elegant New American food. All of the soup creations are unique and delicious and the entrees are inventive yet approachable. Friendly waitstaff, astounding food and a wonderful ambiance make this one of my favorite Chicago restaurants.

A real treat – Went here with my wife and 10 year old daughter (a budding foodie) for a special night out. We all loved everything. The food was carefully prepared and beautifully presented and the waiter was knowledgeable and especially helpful with the wine. The only negative was the drunk woman in the next table and her bratty kid -- I mean, if you take kids out to a nice restaurant make sure they know how to behave! I agree that you could go very dressed up or nicely causal; the place would be great after work or for a romantic dinner.

Unpretentious fine dining experience – Love it here - great food and service but with a casual feel. Dress up or down, its ok. The menu is

very eclectic, lots of choices,, and I love they use so many organic ingredients. My favorites are

spicy ahi tuna ( on the bar menu but available in dining room) and mezze platter of hummos, tabouleh,

pita and greek salad. - 2 people can easily share. My husband loves the short ribs, risotto and sea scallops. Desserts are stellar, the fig tart and Naha sundae are incredible. Almost forgot, lunch is

great too, have the southern fried chicken salad WOW

What a joke! – Avoid this place at all cost. After being encouraged to try this "foodies dream" I did, only to be let down twice. I've experienced it both during lunch and for private dining, and both experiences I left thinking, I should have gone somewhere else. Food is overpriced, portions are small, and everything I tried lacked taste. Service was terrible, they were extremely slow and rude to a number our guests. During the private dining experience we had to ask numerous times for our hor d'oeuvres, only for them to trickle out slowly, the entrees looked great, but again lacked taste and portion sizes were not the same. Trust me, there are tons of other places out there with better food, service, and prices.
