47.721523 -122.292284Bad business..... I was a member in 2004 or 05. I had a 4 week membership and then joined for about 3 months, after which I canceled. About a year later I received a invoice stating I owed $75, which I promptly resolved with a manager named "John". Then, about another year or two later (2/08), they send a letter saying they've closed and I owe them $160 with NO explanation as to why, where from etc. (but did include promise to send to collections). I have tried calling the number they left, tried sending letters and faxes. Voice mailbox has been "full" for WEEKS, no reply, no comments, nothing. I had no problems with the place (albeit a bit run down), but from a membership standpoint, they are HORRIBLE. I suspect there are others out there since I don't think my messages alone could have filled their voicemail.
Aqua Dive is a "dive". Aqua Dive has been in steady decline over the past two years, and many people have left for other nearby fitness clubs. The exercise equipment is old. The showers and bathrooms could be cleaner, and there is often a sewer-like smell. Most of the lockers have broken locks. The saunas and hot tub are frequently out of service. The pool is intermittently "murky" with assurances from the staff that there is just a "chlorine imbalance." This club has great potential, and I wish the owners would put more effort into it.
Expensive/good pool. Lap pool is very good 3 lanes open all day every day! Some times are busy, but compared to city/county pools are not full at all. Jacuzzi, Steam Bath, and Sauna are also used extensively. Weight room and exercycles/stair climbers are not used as extensively but are decent quality. Parking can be very congested at peak times. 2 week closure each year is frustrating. Swim lessons/aerobic instruction available.
