Best happy hour in Seattle and a great late night crowd. Contour has the best happy hour in Seattle with good, quality food for cheaper than you can believe. The drink specials are about average, but happy hour lasts until 8 pm which is great for those who like to have more than one drink after work. Later in the evenings there is almost always a good dj playing and the music isn't the same repetitive, no-talent beat. The crowd seems to be pretty diverse...from younger twenties to early thirties. And if you like to dance or just like to watch people dance it's a good place to spend the evening.
Thank you for your feedback. We are thrilled to know that you enjoy our extended happy hour along with our after hours. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Gotta try Contour. I had been hearing about the incredible happy hour for months. I decided to try it out and was not let down. The staff was friendly and courteous and the drinks are amazing!
We are glad to here our happy hour did not disappoint you and hope you will join us again soon.
Great happy hour, popular after hours!. My husband and I just moved to Seattle from Texas and went to Contour when we were staying in corporate housing in Belltown. The happy hour food menu is killer. The food is really inexpensive and pretty tasty! I loved the gourmet feel (think Gruyere Macaroni & Cheese). We also went another night with some friends later in the evening. It was packed with a fairly young crowd (mid-twenties to early thirties). I'm not a huge house music fan, but the night we went, the DJ was mixing house with fun stuff like Justin Timberlake. I like the cozy ambiance and found the staff to be really attentive and friendly. I'll definitely go back.
Welcome to Seattle! Hopefully this weather has not scared you off. We are glad to here you enjoy our bar and hope you will frequent Contour regularly. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Best Happy Hour in Seattle, until 8pm!!!!.
This has to be the BEST happy hour spot in Seattle. They offer happy hour 7 days a week until 8pm!!! They have a $1.95 cheeseburger that is delicious, and not a small cheeseburger, the real deal with fries, and great drink specials! Best place to meet friends or co workers, highly recommend it. I have had several other food items off the menu and all are inexpensive and good.
I have read some of the other comments about the after hours, and have to agree. While it is completely different at night, it is also loads of fun. I have gone several times with girlfriends to dance. They have great DJ?s who spin until 4am on the weekends. So if you?re also looking for a great place to dance, this place has also got it!
Wow what a review! All I can say is thank you, and we love that you enjoy happy hour as well as the dance club at night. Please come back soon.
Saturday Russian night. Though not the best club in world contour offers unique experience on Saturday nights during the Russian nights. This is my most visited club ? bartenders are professional and mix great stuff. Music is mostly great, though the dance floor is usually packed by 11pm on the Saturday. The club is open left so it is a good place for the after hours hang outs. I recommend it to Russians of Seattle or people who enjoy Russian culture (and woman).
I?m glad to here that you enjoy our Saturday nights and our staff. We hope you continue to visit Contour!
Expensive drinks, stuck-up women. I got in on the guest list to this club through a friend and thought it might be interesting since I've been to Moldova and some other places in the slavic countries, but I was wrong. Not one person in the entire club was interested in talking to me or dancing with me, not even the chubby girls. No wonder Russia fell apart, a dance club full of people who won't dance or talk with a newcomer. Never going back.
Saturday night intoxicating Russian House music. Visiting Seattle for a much needed girls weekend. We both wanted to go to a dance club. We tried Havana's on Capital Hill, just too many drunk sweaty 20 year olds, oh yeah and the DJ was in a coma---BAD! We left, came back downtown, passed by Club Contour on our way to another club, never quite made it to the other one. From the moment we walked in I knew it was going to be a fun night. The Russian House music was intoxicating, lots of interesting beautiful people and the quick service from the bartender! The men were handsomely intriguing with their Russian accents. Even the obligatory drunk girl throwing up in the restroom with steadfast girlfriend standing by, just added to the ambiance. We stayed till 4am and loved it! If you want a place to dance your pretty pants off, this is it.
Never Again. I only went to Contour once and it was the worst experience I ever had at a club in Seattle. The woman at the door was extremely rude. My friend's purse was stolen and the waitress couldn't care less when she asked her for help. To complete the evening, we were kicked out of the club by a very LARGE woman, who apparently was the bouncer because my friend and I stepped outside for some fresh air. We went right outside the door for fresh air and they wouldn't let us back inside because we did not have a stamp. My friend and I did not receive a stamp because we arrived before they started charging admission (before 9pm). We tried to explain this to the rude lady at the door, and then had the gigantic bouncer woman kicked us out. I do not recommend going to Contour to anyone. The only good thing about the place is that they make the drinks strong.
A fair-weather patio and impromptu after-hours entertainment keep First Avenue's finest up past bedtime..
In Short
Contour draws an eclectic mix of Pioneer Square overflow and scantily-clad clubbers. What this club lacks in size, it makes up for in dedication to partying. The narrow, high-ceilinged space houses a bar and a small dance floor and the place is open all night Friday and Saturday. DJs spin house music that ranges from progressive to deep, and live music ranges from jazz fusion to trance.
Happy Hour. The Contour has one of the best happy hours in Seattle. The $1.95 cheeseburger and fried and $2 Driftwood Ale combination is the best deal in town. Another nice thing is their happy hour lasts from 3-8, not just the usual 3-6. Try the lamb kebabs and the mushrooms, both $1.95 ea. You can feast with a friend and have several beers for about $25. The only downside is parking is tough. We park for Mariners games near Pyramid and walk the mile or so escape the crowded high cost Pyramid. The walk is interesting and you will need it after stuffing your face for a couple hours.
