Love Marc Jacob's designs and a stroll up Bleeker Street would not be the same without a visit here. The staff is so nice, always helpful and I usually end up finding something I can live without! Thank you Marc and the Marc Jacobs team!

Friendly service, great clothes – I always visit this store when I am in New York. I have found that the service has always been pleasant and friendly. Esp. love the sale section! Large selection of affordable gifts and costume jewelry in addition to clothes.
good experience – i'm reading here a lot about the horrible service, but i honestly cannot relate to it.
i've been there many times before, my first time was with a friend & i went in there to look around, not planning on buying anything. i thought the people there would be rude to me since i was just looking around but instead of bothering me & asking me if i wanted something, they always smiled.
i did end up buying a scarf, great umbrella & key chain. the girl who attended me was so sweet! the packaging for the umbrella & scarf i had chosen was open but i hadn't noticed but the girl had. she quickly exchanged it for a new one. she accidentally overcharged me because she got confused with another account, that was the only bad experience i have ever had, besides the fact that is always SO PACKED.
the handsome guy by the door just smiled every time i passed by the umbrellas (i couldn't choose one) instead of looking annoyed at my indecisiveness & when i left he opened the door for me & waved bye.
every other experience after that has been really good.
Citysearch Editorial Review – Marc Jacobs' flair for childlike chic is immediately evident upon entering this West Village shop, which has a pinky glow thanks to a massive neon sign out front. Expect to find odds and ends like bubbly cocktail rings and lucite-handled umbrellas ($19) as well as perfumes in atypical scents like pomegranate, apple and biscotti. The bulk of the store is devoted to clothing--jumpsuits, party dresses and striped sweaters--while the back room is a melange of two seasons: bright, puffy coats and lacy bikinis. As for footwear, rain boots line the floor and flip-flops are arranged up the wall. An oblong, pink settee completes the picture of Jacobs' bubblegum sensibility.
Do not go there unless you couldn`t find the item anywhere else in NY – The rudest people that I`ve ever seen in a store in NYC. It is not just one time that the sales people were rude, but everytime I go there, I want to scream like you are not Marc Jacobs, and not the designer of anything in there either. The last time I was there I was trying some shoes, and I had 3 shopping bags from another store. The older lady there just pushed my bags and told me if I could come in another time because they need to organize and it is hard when I try the shoes on with my shopping bags. I couldn`t believe what I heard!!!!!! It was a regular store hour with 1 other customer. There was another time when i asked for another color of the bag that I was wearing, the guy there said it is sold out. I was checking other bags there and another lady came in asked for the same bag to another salesperson. She said let me check and brought the bag from the back. I asked her and she brought me one, too. I wanted to strangle the guy, but didn`t say anything because I cannot lover myself to his level of rudeness!!!!!!!!! As much as I LOVE Marc Jacobs, I literally HATE that store.
testing – handbag was twice as much as i am used to paying for . can purchase product at macys for a lower cost
"The salespeople need to realize that they aren't Marc Jacobs, they just happen to sell his clothes at his retail store." I can't agree more. The worst service ever. The sales people really had this attitude toward customers and it was not professional as salesrep, they should learn more about representing a brand, which does not mean looking CUSTOMERS down.
Terrible Service – Everyone, and I mean everyone, who works here is nasty.
I was ignored the first time I went.
The second time, I wanted to exchange a shirt and was interrogated as to my motives. It was t-shirt, I am not trying to pull one over on the guy- I can buy and sell him and all the t-shirts I want. It shouldn't be such a big deal. (BTW, I ended up buying all of them just to prove a point).
The store is always hot and the people always rude.
The salespeople need to realize that they aren't Marc Jacobs, they just happen to sell his clothes at his retail store.
Cute Stuff, Bad Service – the sales dude is hot...the one with the blue eyes and black hair...but they really need to just get regular cash registers
