Still fun despite the cheesy men... – On Fri. and Sat., this place is definitely laid back and college party-esque. As long as that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed. Nothing here is fancy. The music is pretty much what you would hear at a house party - as in it sounds like someone's iTunes collection with a healthy mix of old favorites but with occasional bad top 40 hit. This is a great place to go if you're with a bunch of friends and you want to grab some drinks and do a little dancing! It's cheap, and you won't have to wait in line for an hour. Do beware of the cheesy men that other reviewers have mentioned - around 1:30am, they start hovering around anything female.

Pleasant Surprise: good dancing, CHEAP drinks. – Very nice layout, with a restaurant/bar area in the front, and an open, spacious dancefloor in the back room with its own bar. In my many visits (Fridays & Saturdays), the crowd has never been too seedy or too frat-heavy; a good mix of people, and a friendly atmosphere. I've introduced a good number of my friends to this place, and they have not been disappointed. As a grad student, I have a hard time coughing up $10 for a cover, only to be hit again by $10+ drinks. Fortunately, the typical cocktail price is $4-5.

Ideal if you're under. – The staff behave in a less than professional manner, and the music is geared towards those just being introduced to electronic music. As it's one of the few bars in Boston that admit people under the age of 21, they tend to frequent it heavily.

A great hang out filled with students from BU, BC and Northeastern. Some of the guys are a little cheesy, but at least you'll have something to laugh at on your way home. Thursday hip hop nights are by far the best and there are tons of seats scattered around for those people who'd rather not be groped.

Boston Univeristy Crowd – This is a typical BU undergrad crowd bar. It has an Irish feel to it. Thursday nights are the best with great hip-hop music. It gets really packed on Thurs. Not fancy by any stretch of the imagination. I wouldn't recommend going any other night...especially Monday--goth night--unless of course you like that sort of thing. But overall, I good time.

Great meat market men – If you want to go out with a bunch of girlfriends and laugh at cheesy dudes all night, you'll have lots of material after visiting this bar latenight on a Friday or Saturday. The dance floor is fun for laughs as well. However, if you're looking for a place to have a meaningful conversation over a quiet glass of wine, look elsewhere.
