manager. I will occasionally stop into the Library Pub in Novi on a weekend night. I always have a pleasant experience. Yesterday night I was in there with my wife enjoying a drink. To my dismay we watched the manager working doing shots of liquior. Being a business owner myself, I feel that it looks bad to your costumers and will reflect on your business.

They stole money from us!. My boyfriend and I went here with some friends one night. A couple days later, he was looking at his bank account and saw that they had added an additional charge of $30 to his card (separate from the tab he signed for).

We called and were told by the manager Carrie that it was our problem and someone else must have skipped their tab. (This wasn't true -- we checked with our friends and they had all paid. The tab she claimed was unpaid was actually paid in cash, and he had even received change. Possibly the waitress, Traci, pocketing the cash?) Regardless, it's illegal to add unauthorized charges! She refused to refund us!

We had to call back twice and threaten to charge the restaurant with fraud before she agreed to refund the charge. 3 weeks later, she had NOT refunded it!

Thankfully, my boyfriend's bank removed the charge when he called them. But it doesn't make it okay that this restaurant commits theft and fraud!

Definitely do NOT go here!

In Response to Patron1. In response to Patron1: Anyone who knows anything about the restaurant business does not call a dining establishment inquiring about a job during rush time at lunch and dinner hours. No brainer.

Good food at a good price. Always busy. If you don't like the crowd you can always do CARRY OUT seven days a week.

Longest wait of any restaurant to be seated- every time for over 4 year. This restaurant has good food and reasonable prices.I have been going there occasionally for over 4 years and EVERY time it is a 20-30 minute wait for a table. Then it is SO noisey, it is difficult to have conversation. There are plenty of places with good food and resonable prices that cause me to say I WON"T BE BACK!

RENEE: rude answering the phone during "lunch"!!. I love the Library Pub and have for several years....However, when I attempted to call to ask if they were hiring servers "Renee" who answered the phone, responded this way! "Um, we're right in the middle of lunch...this isn't the best time to be calling to see if we are hiring or not!" She used an extremely rude tone and was just silent after that. In my shock, I sat there with no responce and she hung up, as did I. Now, unfortunately my love and confidence of the Library Pub has been substantially darkened! I would highly suggest that they attempt to review their employees aswering the phones to help retain the great image of the Library Pub!

love it. I love this place, I always have fun and enjoy going here. I think its an all around great place for all ages and even little kids during the day. I love when I can sit outside and enjoy a drink during the summer as well!

Novi Day Bartender pre-occupied with the Keno Machine!!!!!. The day bartender is absolutely addicted to the Keno machine. My father use to go in on a daily basis and stopped sitting at the bar for that reason. We wrote a letter and complained and nothing happened!!!!!!

Consistent food and service. Great place to relax and meet people. Went there for St Pat's day. What fun!! There was NO COVER CHARGE and the drink prices weren't jacked up like other bars in the area(Cowley's). I have been there on numerous occassions and have always had good food and good service. I don't think they do live entertainment anymore because it seems like they always have the games on. Just a great place to hang out. I always try to go saturday or sunday afternoons for their 2 for 1 burger special. Have also been there at night when the activity is more alive. I guess I am a regular. LOVE THE PLACE!

Great place to go for casual night out. Great place to go for beer and to just chill out. You can watch any of their many flat screen tvs or play keno (which is always interesting.) The food is good and not expensive. Very Friendly staff and always helped quickly even when they are busy.
