Good sushi for reasonable prices and quick service. I think the reason why they call it "Crazy Fish" because you'd have to be a little crazy to not get your sushi fix here.

Worst service in town!!!! – Let's face it...most people go to this place for the huge amount of rice they put in their sushi, that way you'll get full for less money. The quality of the sushi here is a "5" from 1 to 10 scale.

But what I can't understand, is how bad and rude the staff is.

The owners are a "Class act of rudness" so are the sushi chef's!!! (follow the leaders if you know what I meant).

I will never ever set a foot in this ugly place again!!!!!

This place makes me happy in my heart – Ok, I've read the reviews, some great, some no much. The thing about this place is this, they have great sushi and a fantastic price point. A really fantastic price point in fact. Equally important, sushi rolls are what I call "Man Size Rolls" This is a good thing. I'm 6'3" of all musclely goodness, and just one roll can fill me up. So what if your waiter dude isnt super attentive to your every whim, your getting great food, at unbelieveable prices. Its a fun spot for sure! If you want super service, go pay 300 dollars for your smancy pants sushi elsewhere.

Now that you've read my review, go now, drop everything your doing, and eat sushi! No other review on this page is as important as mine!

Good to satisfy a craving! – The service was so-so both times I've been to Crazy Fish, and the Sushi has been very good. The Beverly Hills rolls are awesome and very big--HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I have liked everything I've tried there...and there are several things I saw the Chef prepare that I want to try next time. Overall, I think the quality of the Sushi matches the price. The service could definitely be improved upon, though. If you're missing a dish to put soy sauce in, just grab one from elsewhere because you're going to be waiting a WHILE if you ask a waiter. If you're having a sushi craving and don't have a gazillion dollars to spend, this place is great! I don't know what everyone is talking about as far as waiting a long time...I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes either time we've been. I will be back!

Avoid chicken rolls! – Sushi is a kind of a delicacy for me and this place just ruins the reputation of this delectable, glorious low fat fare. Although the fish itself was good, (not outstanding when it comes to freshness) the ginger stored in large pots was stale and flavorless. My friend ordered chicken rolls and after having a few bits she noticed that some chicken peaces were still raw. Of course she gave it back but the dinner and our mood was ruined. The waiter offered her to order something else but she denied. The tempura veggie rolls were much better. Veggies were succulent, crispy and all in all very good. The prices at this sushi joint were very reasonable though: Eight pieces of tuna roll for $5.50.

Had major problems with food – The meat in my chicken teriyaki sushi wasn?t cooked all the way through, and the ginger in the buckets doubling as table decorations wasn?t fresh. However, my veggie tempura sushi was fantastically crunchy and tasty. The sushi at Crazy Fish is a better bargain price-wise than at similar area restaurant, such as Luckyfish. On top of having more a more substantial and playful menu, with selection like the Jewish and Beverly Hills rolls, Crazy Fish?s sushi pieces and portions are substantially larger than Luckyfish?s. Still, I was so turned off by the ginger and the uncooked chicken at Crazy Fish, not to mention the bland, white dining room interior, that I?m definitely willing to pay more for the experience and better quality cuisine at Luckyfish.

16% TIPS ADD ON - BEWARE!!! – Since many viewers said the services are horrible. I experience somewhat during years I have been going to Crazy Fish. I usually try to go on the less busy hours; I like the sushi with reasonable price despite the waiters don't seem to be so attentive. However, they added 16% tips on the bill few months back. I find it is outrageous since the services are so-so. They basically just take the orders, drop the food off the table, and give you the bill. You have to ask several times to refill the drinks or make additional order. I usually still tip them 15% regardless, but to force people to pay the tips with so-so customer service is absolutely wrong. I don't think any restaurant is doing it unless for 5 people or above in a party. Please don't get shock when you see the bill with additional 16% gratuity!!! There are so many great sushi places in the Westside, I think I'll pass on this one for good simply base on the principle of gratuity should be voluntary!!!

Rude staff. – This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced!!! If you like to pay to be treated bad, this is the place to go. Sushi chef's have a real bad attitude. Food is good, but not worth the treatement.
