“What a wonderful experience--from the service, to the food, to the presentation, to the knowledge of the waiter, to the ambience--we could not have had enjoyed it more.”
“The prices were reasonable and we had an appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 glass of wine each, and 1 mango martini total $70.”
“especially liked the coconut shrimp appetizer.”
“We stumbled across Eurasia - it looked a lot nicer inside than the snooty place, but the gentleman who greated us was EXTREMELY polite and sat us right away.”
“So we were in shorts, but we could've definately paid for the meal at the snooty place (again, CAFE LILY - we will NEVER go back).”
“Quickly: excellent, fresh food, the service was excellent if a little bit too attentive (I was instructed to eat my soft shelled crab while it was still crispy and leave the basil rolls for later).”
“The price was very reasonable, entrees came with very generous portions.”
Atlanta's Best Pan Asian Food. We go to this restaurant about once a month. It's our favorite of all the restaurants we've tried in Atlanta in the last 20 years. Wonderful service, great food, spectacular presentation. Always a treat to dine here. Don't miss the crystal shrimp dumplings, bacon wrapped shrimp, salmon, coconut prawns, scallop entree. Tofu soup is also good if you like hot and spicy. Nice wine list.
Worst Service I have had in years - appalled.
-My glass was dirty with lipstick stains.
-We were given the lunch menu instead of dinner menu
-My Coconut Prawns were so spicy I couldn't eat them - I asked to get a box without the sauce in the bottom of the plate. The waitress threw out ALL OF THE NOODLES AND LEFT ME WITH 3 SHRIMP THAT I PAID $20 for.
-My friend asked to have her meal boxed and after saying okay, the waitress put a dirty plate on top of her meal to be boxed.
This dining experience was UNACCEPTABLE. I am appalled and feel that I should not have had to pay for my meal that I did NOT eat and was THROWN AWAY.
I do not recommend this place to anyone.
AMAZING. I had the items on the Prix Fix menu and it was absolutely amazing. Every bite was so delicious. I especially liked the coconut shrimp appetizer. So good. I highly recommend!!
pretty place. My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary. It was on a Monday night, so the service was very prompt. The atmosphere was romantic and there was nice jazz playing. My chicken was good-it took me a minute to get used to the flavor but then I enjoyed it. My boyfriend had the lamb and I highly recommend that. He loved the lamp and plans on coming back just for it! The prices were reasonable and we had an appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 glass of wine each, and 1 mango martini total $70. That martini was powerful-more martini than mango! Overall, it was quite enjoyable and we got to meet the owner who was very nice. I probably wouldn't go again unless it was for the lamb because I don't eat most of the stuff on there. So if you're a picky eater I wouldn't recommend it.
Absolutly Fantastic Pan Asian / Pacific Rim. ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC. Growing up in the restaurant business, an avid gourmet food lover and preparer I can assure you this is one of the best ?fusions? of taste you?ll experience. The entire experience from the dishes that make your taste buds explode to how the coffee was served will be an absolute delight. Eurasia is as good as or even better than Roy?s in Hawaii and the top ?Fusion? / ?Pan Asian?/ ?Pacific-Rim? restaurants around but at a fraction of the cost. The BIG plus ? wonderful, friendly, and enjoyable staff that will make you laugh and feel like part of the family. Make sure you ask for William.
Wonderful ambiance, good creative food. We've been to Eurasia many times and have always enjoyed the ambiance, the music, and (above all) the food. The chef is very creative, creating the kind of fusion that the name implies. The decor, lighting, and music accentuate this fusion. Even the choice of bowls and plates (different for every dish) contributes to the feel. Eurasia makes a great romantic night out.
So glad we decided to come here. We decided to patronize this restaurant despite the last review dated 3/3/1/07, and we are so-o-o glad we did!!! We were seated promptly. The waiter gave us some recommendations, and they were all winners. The service was fabulous - we were in a rush and we had no problem getting out of there within an hour. Three of us ordered the stripe bass and one of us ordered the duck. they were all good. the spring rolls with the Thai sauce was outstanding. The price was very reasonable, entrees came with very generous portions. No doubt we'll be back. Oh, if you go call them and ask about parking. They told us they are in the midst of renting some parking space in a nearby lot so that their customers can park for free. Bon Appetit.
Worst service in Atlanta.
Food took over one hour to arrive for the first diner, an hour and half for the last in the party (they gave us several excuses).
My sole was sitting out on a counter for half an hour and was COLD when I tried it. The waiter whisked it away and reheated it. I could see that the piece I had tried was rotated to make it seem like a new serving. I informed the maitre d' who also reheated it when I asked for a new serving after explaining the circumstances. He was not very kind and asked me to try it first that I will now like it because he heated it up. I gave up. The sole was covered in half-cooked flour and was DIGUSTING! After much hassle and arguing, we had the manager called. He was not any more polite and was generally unpleasant about the whole thing. Eventually, he took off the entrees (the other ones were just as bad and very very late) but not before some grumbling. There was only one apology at the end, along with yet another (different) excuse.
I do not recommend this restaurant due to the poor service and substandard food. For the money, you do not get close to what you pay for.
AMAZING!!!. My husband & I didn't know where or what we wanted for dinner, but we knew we didn't want to drive. We stopped at one place (Cafe Lily) and went inside to check out the menu - we weren't in the mood for what they had so we thanked the hostess & told her we'd keep looking. She looked us up and down (as we were both in shorts & a t-shirt) and said we might be happier at the place a couple doors down - Levi's Fishhouse. That place had fried fish and french fries as the main menu item!! Even in the CitySearch description it's decribed as "Decatur's Tackiest Restaurant". We were pretty insulted. So we were in shorts, but we could've definately paid for the meal at the snooty place (again, CAFE LILY - we will NEVER go back). We stumbled across Eurasia - it looked a lot nicer inside than the snooty place, but the gentleman who greated us was EXTREMELY polite and sat us right away. We had no idea what we were in for.... The food was FANTASTIC!!!! The service was excellent. It's now our favorite place in Decatur!!
A best kept secret in Decatur!. This little restaurant I found when I business associate took me there for lunch. Since then, I have taken everyone else - co-workers, spouse, clients. The food is excellent, as is the service. I have only been for lunch and it is a great alternative to fast food and some of the other chain restaurants in the area.
