With an awe-inspiring beer selection, Brew Moon is suds capitalism gone berserk. From far-flung favorites like Murphy's Irish Stout and Kirin Ichiban to down-home brews like Shiner and Celis, this is place to go to kick back with a pint or a longneck. If you ask, Brew Moon will claim not to be an Irish pub. True, no shamrocks adorn the walls, but a poster of Irish pubs does hang by the door, and there is something a wee bit Gaelic in its neighborhood-bar atmosphere and the Celtic band that plays on Saturdays. Plus, the burly barkeep pours a nice and creamy Guinness. The offerings from the kitchen may be all-American, grease-drowned bar food, but the atmosphere is pleasantly Irish.
Great place. I have been going there years. The beer selection is great, the menu looks to be created by creative beer drinker who know what's pleasin' and the regulars are welcoming. They've been going there forever too. Spurs games, Fridays and midweek after work... BEER BEER BEER
Great place. This is a great place. Trivia on Wednesdays, Celtic jam on Thursdays, people playing chess, darts, pool, beer flowing, food, laughter, great atmosphere, lots of fun, what else can you ask for. This is Cheers.
Brew heaven!. Very home like atmosphere. The people there are some of the most likable people in San Antonio. If you like beer and are looking for a great place to hang out, try Brew Moon.
