Good Times – Always been a fan of this bar. Good local bands and who can hate strong well priced drinks?

A short story about the amazing staff they have working there. I lost my camera at the bar and one of the bartenders found my camera and posted it to the lost and found on craigs list. He was extremely nice and would not accept anything as a thank you. It is so damn refreshing to find a kind honest person out there. He made my day so much better, so needless to say i will be a loyal backbooth attendee and will only speak the highest of them!

Thanks!!!

One of the best places in Orlando, if you want to see a band – If you are a live music fan and want to actually SEE bands play live, this is the place to go. No matter where you are in this tiny club, you can see the stage. The staff doesn't try to be your best friend, but they don't treat people like dirt (looking at you, HOB and Firestone). Love the location of the merch table right by the door. I've seen punk, metal, pop punk, punk rock, southern rock, and electronica bands here, and it's always awesome good time.

Vomit Soaked – The first impression at the door is a hole in the wall and nothing special, then once you pay and are granted the privilege to enter said hole you are greeted with the pungent smell of vomit and bad attitudes. The crowd and or live music is hit or miss but can range from run of the mill local punk bands and bad indie pop to the occasional semi- known bands of yesterday. All that aside it's a pretty average place for Orlando "hipsters" aka former high school punching bags. The nastiest part of the experience however was not the POW camp standard bathroom. That honor lies on the narrow shoulders of the unpleasant and unattractive pygmy bartender I think went by the name of John, who for such a lousy bartender seemed to have a sense of undeserved pride and an aura of bad hygiene via horrendous body odor. Maybe it's part of the image but at least know how to make a drink right. I had been visiting from Tampa and my friends took me here under the pretense that this was a representation of the Orlando "scene". After seeing what it had to offer, I'd say pass.

Citysearch Editorial Review – Hipsters and indie types watch and bop to local and national acts or dance until the wee hours of the morning at this hidden live music venue. Two bar areas keep beer drinkers happy while regulars get cozy in an upstairs loft or on bar stools throughout the quaint surroundings. The d├ęcor features dark wood similar to an Old English pub but the not-so-sound-proofed walls causes the pumping beats of a next door nightclub from interfering with live music performances at times.

Scout a schedule before showing up. – You pay a cover, Usually 5-8$, walk in the double doors. Merch to the left, bar to the right or all the way in the back. Either the bar is empty and a drink is easy to find, or The front bar is slammed full and You will wait for Your PBR just like everyone else, supply is average; Demand is High. Back Booth will sometimes run Out of Your favorite beer as usually happens anywhere downtown. Beer in hand You venture around a support wall, past the stage. If the Band is on and there's a large crowd; Watch for flying objects and or liquids, and it may take a while to get through. The restrooms are average Downtown Wet/Dirty. No sandles/Flip-Flops. If the Dance floor is mostly empty, walking is a breeze. Many/Most people are Friendly, Helpful Youths late 20's and Younger. Everyone shows up to have a good time, It just does'nt always end as pleasantly. Beer induced dancing and scuffles are expected and handled easily by the crowd. Live bands play in close range almost 3D because the stage is raised a good bit , no visual issues. The Sound is often too loud for conversation of any type. Limited seating and or standing room, try upstairs balcony.

Well... – Ive been to the Back Booth a few times. The atmosphere is very 'rebellious rock and roll college kids' which kinda rocks. Sadly that goes for the bathrooms as well! Service is okay but not super great and well the music...yeah.

Most of the bands book are all whiny alterna-rock kids who sound the same. Usually 3-4 bands play and only one is usually even worth watching. The kids dont seem to care though...
