Terrible shirt material, fabric pulls easily. I love their golf shirt designs, particularly the Lachlan Cool Wave, and fit so much that I've purchased three of them. The first one (which I paid $125 for at a golf club) I wore only twice on the course and ended up with two pulls in the fabric that made it really unwearable. For Father's Day, knowing I loved the shirt so much, my wife bought me another one of the same design (another $120 online). This time, I only got one wear out of it until the exact same thing happened.
By this time I was ticked that I had spent $245 on two shirts that hung in my closet and I couldn't wear any longer, so I contacted the US manufacturer rep. They first said that they couldn't help me. Seriously!!?? After some persistence, they said they would have the J.Lindeberg corporate office contact me to help resolve my complaint. After two such promises and waiting now more than a month, I have yet to hear from them. When I saw the same shirts on Amazon, I decided to purchase it, not expecting it to have any different result (which it didn't; same outcome!), but so that I could share a review on Amazon so that other people don't purchase this terrible shirt from a terrible company.
Don't buy from. They are over priced, their product quality is terrible and they don't stand behind their products.
Great Women's Clothing; J Lindeberg – I'm incredibly surprised that I'm the first to review J. Lindeberg. Hello people! J. Lindeberg is great. Nothing suits me better than a slim Swedish silhouette, luxe fabrics, and a convenient location.
The staff there are quite friendly. Greeted me at the door -- like all stores normally do -- but also, they were very complimenting. I guess its my charm. One of the guys behind the counter complimented my jacket, which I thought was sweet. They were just nice. Chatted with them for a little bit, and then I was on my way out. Had to get going. Grabbed a business card.
This is one of my favorite stores in SoHo. It is very simple and sophisticated, very Swedish. I comfortably browsed without feeling pressured, and the staff was also very helpful. Another bonus was the reusable zip top tote they use as shopping bags. Will definitely have to go back soon!
Lots of black, gray, deep blues, with hints of color here and there. Isn't that Club Monaco? Not so. Come check out some premium Swedish designed and tailored clothes, the ones that H&M so subtly copy, at J. Lindeberg's store down in SoHo. Beautiful men's dress shirts in solid colors and dense patterns, and fitted cashmere and wool jackets for the slender lad. The clothes emphasize the silhouette, and do not shout "I spent a hell of a lot of money on this!" - I'm lookin' at you, Paul Smith. Prices go with the quality.
This Soho boutique offers sophisticated Swedish style with roots in sportswear. – In Short
A tesselated pattern of the J.Lindeberg logo (a J and an L joined together) adorns the store's wallpaper and carpeting, giving it an Op-Art feel. Upstairs, you'll find plenty of well-cut pants, available even in candy colors (hey, real men do wear pink). Thin belts and wrist cuffs add a touch of tough. The real draw, though, is downstairs, where Lindeberg's On Course collection of golfwear for both men and women combines fashion sense with function.
WOW!! – J. Lindeberg is my favorite designer. His designs are unique and like no other. Walking into his SOHO store, for me, is like a child going into a candy store. I never come out empty handed. The sales people are so helpful and friendly, which is more than I can say for most NYC stores. Even if you can't afford the clothes, it's worth going in just to look. You won't be disappointed!
Sexy and fun men's clothes – Admitedly, you have to have a pretty decent body to wear these clothes. And, it's not necessarily the kind of clothes you wear just anywhere. But all that said, J. Lindeberg has some of the most fun men's clothes out there. If you feel like splurging on something fun, funky and flattering ... then this is the place to go. This is not for the fashion faint of heart. Plus, the salespeople are extremely helpful and patient ... a huge plus in my book. Great selection of trousers with a funky cut. They tend to flare out at the bottom, but no so much that you look like a Greg Brady wannabe. Plus, the perfect place to get a fitted jacket.
