Editorial Review – Located in Kent's Great Wall Mall, this casual Chinese restaurant specializes in fresh seafood, vegetarian dishes and dim sum made daily.

The Worst Service Ever and Very Bad Dim Sum and a Cover Charge!!!!!!!! – Wow. I don't think it can get any worse. The service was horrible. The servers went by with the dim sum cart and served everyone around my table but completely ignored my table. I had to stop them couple of times just to get some food!! Then they charged me for tea which I refused, when I pointed out the charge, they said I have to pay for cover charge if I don't drink tea! Amazing. I had never heard of it. I am one of those patient people who hate complaining about restaurants but this takes the cake. I was able to grab 3 dishes as it went by..horrible!!Go to Top Gun in Factoria instead. Food is much much better and so is the service!

horrible service and DIRTY – After being promptly seated, I found that my tea cup was quite dirty (and easy to see this, as teacups are white at Chinese restaurants). We were sitting down for around 5 minutes and we did not get TEA, nor did we get anyone coming by with a cart full of dim sum!

Meanwhile, two tables down, another couple was served immediately after they sat down. Which was 30 seconds after we sat down. (They appeared to be asian-american, I realize that my boyfriend and I are very obviously of Irish/Swedish descent but we heart dim sum!)

I don't stick around places that have bad service right from the get-go... at 10:45 in the morning before a rush even begins. At least bring my freaking tea.

Try Top Gun Seafood in factoria area of bellevue. Excellent service, great food, reliable.

Worst service not worth the trip for okay food – I'm quite used to the restaurants with not-very-good service, but this was the worst I've ever experienced in Seattle. It took us at least 3 requests to get some water after we sat down and for refills we had to grab a server's sleeve carrying a water pitcher to beg for some. Food was just okay - my friend took us there since she really liked their specials, which were not being served any more. I tried ordering some dessert directly off their menu, and the server started yelling at that I wasnt saying it quickly enough. When we were just more than ready to get out of that place, we realized we were overcharged they charged twice for a few of the items on our check. And the last scene was a server yelling at a cashier in front of the customers waiting to pay their checks.

Sudden, sharp turn for the worse – This used to be the best dim sum restaurant in the area, with a very authentic taste, and well worth the drive south from Seattle. But a recent visit revealed the food is not up to its previous standard. Too much of it was bland or cold, and just not very good. Maybe still worth a drive down if you haven't yet visited the interesting asian shopping mall it's located in, but based on my recent experience there, the food itself is not the attraction it once was.

Ok but not great... – I've had a lot of dim sum up and down the west coast, and thought my mom would enjoy it as something different. Based on various rave reviews I took her to Imperial Garden for dim sum and was, frankly, disappointed. The dim sum was limited to a dozen or so items on the circulating carts and the variety wasn't that great. The quality of what we did have - bao, su mai, misc. shrimp, egg rolls, potstickers - was average at best. On the bright side the atmosphere was very professional and a majority of the diners were asian. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but I would have thought dim sum could be prepared with consistency...

Valentine Treat – I recommend Imperial Garden on Valentines Day. They have the best menu, including drinks. Try the lobster!

Some of the Best of Seattle – Since I first tried this restaurant a few years ago, I have come back prehaps a few dozen times for the Dim Sum. It is not the best I've ever had but it is VERY Good. It can be very crowded at lunch time due to the popularity of this place. The service is OK, but not much above that. I just recently tried items off of their regular menu and found them to be just as good as the Dim Sum menu. Everything was flavorful and well presented.

great dim sum – Dim sum is consistently the best in Seattle. Not on par w/ Hong Kong or Vancouver, but for Seattle, it's great!

Chinese Dragon – Food is greasy but some of them are good. The service is Chinese style, in other words, it is sucks if you compared as an American standard.
