Try the Eggnog Ice Cream – Oh wow - the eggnog ice cream on a pretzel cone is heaven! Yum. First time visitor.
The best ice cream in the country guaranteed! – I have had ice cream hundreds of times all over the country and nothing comes close to beating Graeter's. I would pay someone $20 for a cone that is better. All of their 20 flavors are delicious, but my favorite is the Buckeye Blitz. I am looking at their prices online here in Arizona (where I now live, I lived in Dublin, OH for 8 years) and see that it is $4.60 for a double scoop cone. I would honestly pay $12 for that same cone here in Arizona if I could get it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Why don't other ice cream shops have chocolate chips this soft? – The ice cream is good, but so is the ice cream at a lot of places. The reason I'll sometimes choose Graeter's over other, smaller ice cream shops is the chocolate "chips": they aren't too hard and brittle to get the chocolate taste. I don't know if it's a higher cocoa butter content or what, but they chocolate is much better in texture than what I normally find in a frozen dish. Yum.
I live for this ice cream – GET THE BUCKEYE SUNDAE!!! Also, try the rasberry chocolate cake. Graeters is the best ice cream in the country, I'm down here and I got ice cream at Ghirardelli and it STILL does not compare to Graeter's Ice Cream.
Graet! – I love Graeters. It's located in my town right near my house so it's pretty local. In the ice cream, you can find HUGE chunks of delectable Graeters chocolate. The ice cream is perfect!
Graeters, is beyond GREAT – I accidentaly found this ice cream shop, and now I tell everyone to go there, I have driven 3 hours just to get the icecream there, and I have everyone I know that is going to Columbus to bring me back some. I scream for Graeter's icecream!!!!
World's best ice cream – The best ice cream in the WORLD bar none! The large variety and quality of flavors is incredible...try the fresh peach in the summer and egg nog in winter! The summer t-shirt contest is always fun and a graet excuse to eat more ice cream!

Although originally from Cincinnati, Graeter's Bethel Road location has a free, self-guided factory tour. Here you can watch people stirring, freezing and packaging ice cream through big glass windows. A video and signs lend insight into the process, while display cases show off historic implements used by Graeter's (they've made ice cream longer than any other company in America). Bethel Road also has a children's play area called "Scoops and Chutes." Sit down and nosh while your kids play inside an ice cream tunnel or on the banana seesaw.
Graeter's uses the time-consuming French Pot production process, which, unlike most ice creams, isn't whipped up by air. Every scoop is thick enough to be a meal in itself. Standard flavors range from butter pecan to vanilla, and several--like black raspberry-- come with giant chocolate chips. Seasonal offerings like pumpkin and key lime pie, appear on chalkboards at every location.
Wonderful Ice Cream !!! – This ice cream is the best and the service is superb at the Bethel Road, Easton and Frantz Road locations. My husband LOVES the Rasberry chocolate chip and the turtle sundaes are great - with the big chunks of heath toffee chips and chocolate. Yes- the two scoop sundaes are 6.00 - but this is the real deal. If a person wants an old fashion ice cream palor experience with REAL ice cream than this is the place. Everyone I know Loves Graeters !
Graeter's Rocks – There are Graeters locations in three of the major cities in Ohio. There are about five locations in Columbus, a couple in Cincy, including the one in Hyde Park which is the original and one was recently built in Kettering, a suburb of Dayton. It is the best ice cream I've ever had. I recommend the coconut ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. You should also try the Buckeye. It is peanut butter chocolate chip ice cream covered in hot fudge topped off with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles! I suggest you get it in a waffle bowl which makes it the much better.
