A Long Standing Tradition.
The food is fantastic, always has been. As a third
generation patron, not much has changed and
thats a GOOD thing. However the manager rants
around the establishment and speaks negative
about the business. This will ruin the good thing
you've got and I hope you take heed as no one else
provides the type of savory dishes which are your
specialty. If the cook leaves....your done!

Great ... when they're open!.
This message is for the owner of El Faro:
I love this restaurant and have eaten there for over 20 years. However I am very upset at your hours. I went last week at 3:00pm and you were closed. I went today just before 2:00pm and you were CLOSED again!! How do you expect to maintain buisness when you are not open?? You were suppose to extend your hours upon the remodel and you still have not done that! It is my opinion that you are only open 5-6 hours a day. That is pathetic!!! Please change this soon!!!!!

distinct flavors to every dish.
we have been frequenting El Faro Restaurant for over 20 years. Every dish is made fresh daily. Sauces are unique and have been passed on for generations. Visitors are welcomed in the kitchen to talk to the Chef and owner, Louis Fregoso.
