Sweet Clothes and Awesome Jewelry! – This place is really sweet. They carry great new designers at incredible prices, and have some fabulous things at higher prices, though not astronomical. I can buy something to wear every day (like inexpensive little tops and dresses and jeans), as well as fantastic little dresses that you can't find anywhere else. Not sure about the last review, but the owner has always been very friendly and helpful. Never pushy! The best part is the jewelry! Great stuff at great prices. (People are always asking me about where I get my necklaces)...Seriously cool and you'll never leave without finding something to buy :-) Oh, and it's not crazy like Robertson, but you might see a star or two as well!
Great clothes, ABSOLUTELY! Service, FANTASTIC! – Beige is a one-of-a-kind boutique, each time you enter this store you are faced with so many wonderful choices you want everything! From heavenly creations by Vivienne Westwood to staples like Velvet tees...Mason, Phillip Lim 3.1, Rock and Republic, Made, Sanctuary, it's all here but the clothes do not make this store so spectacular, the people do. The staff is so savvy about what works and what makes a woman feel good that it spills over onto the customers. I have had conversations, compliments and so much fun with shoppers I've never met before, from opinions to trading clothing items right out of the dressing room. This store is my favorite in LA. The owners are so welcoming, they take the very best care of their customers and in the process turn them into friends.
A carefully crafted selection of affordable designer pieces aimed at women who appreciate comfort and style. – In Short
Feminine, unconventional designer fashion is spotlighted in this long, narrow shop accented with a few fine pieces of 1960s furnishings. The focus is on a select group of local and international designers, among them co-owner Tina Webb, Phillip Lem, Vivienne Westwood, Michelle Mason and Pegah Anvarian. Wood shelves are stacked with slinky knit tops by Park Vogel, and roomy Pivet handbags, while the jewelry case shows unique pieces by Matthew Kelly, Speckles, Julieri and others.
Great clothes, lousy service – Great designers and a nice selection. Even the sales are well-timed. But the owner? Boy, if you ever meet her, will you be sure to cross Beige off your list of stores to shop at. After all, it's not like they carry anything a dozen others don't. She doesn't understand that it is customer service that makes shoppers want to go one place over the other. Maybe that's why the last (and final) time I was there it was empty. On a Saturday afternoon.
