Citysearch Editorial Review – Part lounge, part waterfront dining destination, Six Seven at the Edgewater has been a classic spot for out-of-towners and locals alike for those who desire a meal with a sumptuous view of Elliot Bay. At lunch, the restaurant is divided between sharply-suited downtown workers on business lunches and smaller tables of casually-dressed friends out to enjoy the sunshine. Rustic “tree” columns (complete with outstretched branches) and stone fireplaces give the room an upscale cabin vibe, while the food echoes that gourmet comfort with an emphasis on PNW seafood. Fish not your thing? Dig into the Happy Hour cured meat plate from famed local charcuterie Salumi, or indulge in a platter of spicy blackberry-sauced chicken wings. At night, the menu takes on a more decadent turn with filet mignon, lamb chops and local beet salads rounding out the list of seafood options—everything from King salmon to crab legs to swordfish.

Six Seven is a Ten! – Six Seven restaurant at the Edgewater Hotel is a great example of edgy hip meets Seattle. The decor is a mix of metal, leather and wood. Imagine, half wood half steel floor to ceiling beams and leather couches with the gorgeous Puget Sound view behind you.

The restaurant consists of a larger indoor dining area, and a small outdoor seating area. The bar is a loungy mix of couches and armchairs with tables for dining.

Unless you are entertaining a crowd, the best bet is to head out for their great happy hour. Thursday-Sunday 3p-6p Six Seven offers $5 appetizers, $6 specialty cocktails, and $3.75 beers. I recommend the fish and chips - it's huge! They no longer offer the mac n cheese at happy hour, which is sad, but the mussels are great too.

On Saturday nights, at the bar they have ladies night with FREE champagne for the chicas! It's not a one-time thing either. Grab your ladies, pony up to the bar and you will be offered (for you shy ones) champagne by the generous and helpful bar staff.

Music and sometimes DJs and live bands play in the background making a Six Seven a great place to start out your nigh.

Cheers!

Fancy Schmancy on the waterfront – Ok so I have to admit that every time I've come to the Sex Seven at the Edgewater Hotel, it's been for a private party hosted in their bar. So my experience is mainly about their private events, not their restaurant.

But... they do fabulous private parties. You get the entire bar area & part of the outdoor seating area for the exclusive use of the private party. The cater the most delicious food, especially their cheeses. They can make some signature drinks.

And did I talk about the view... the view is incredible! Wish they had more outdoor seating & more window seating.

The bathrooms are just so-so. Parking sucks. You have to either find street parking or the valet cost like $7-$15 depending on the event you go to. It's not a flat rate, it's based on your event (which doesn't make much sense to me).

Oh and I do like the decor & the bar area... very nice.

Great view and tons of ambience – This is a great place to spend a sunny summer afternoon, the patio is beautiful and you can sit in the sun and watch boats go by in the seattle harbor. Unfortunately though there are not a lot of outdoor tables and they are usually taken. Its a great place for photos. The inside is nice too, but the outside is definetly choice. Barstaff are friendly and make good drinks. This is also a good bathroom to use if you are in the downtown area and need somewhere to stop off, its pretty classy. Another great place to take out of town guests if you are blessed with a sunny day and want to show them the beauty of Seattle.

The view makes this restaurant – I was dining by myself and found that I had been forgotten a few times along with another woman I noticed dining by herself who had been COMPLETELY forgotten. If I had been her I would have walked. This was a Wednesday night. At times I felt like they were doing me a favor when I would ask for something.

Bottom line, I expected more for $80 clams. Alot more.

Worth the drive from the Eastside – Even though we live on the eastside, we visit Six Seven every Mother's Day for the most awesome brunch around. (The bacon alone is worth the drive but the made-to-order-while-you-wait omelets are great, too.) We also bring out of town guests there for dinner because it's hard to beat the charm of fine dining on the waterfront, even when the weather isn't the best. (In summer, the outside deck is open for seating). There really isn't a bad seat in the house. Wait staff NEVER rushes you and you feel free to relax and enjoy the experience.

Very Impressed!!! – If you haven't been to Six Seven @ The Edgewater lately, it's high time you try it again!!! We had an incredible meal, and the service was friendly , courteous, and knowledgeable. The new Fall menu is one of the most creative I have seen as far as flavor combination's and execution. I also enjoyed the portion sizes, not too big, not too small, and for the smaller appetites, you are able to order half portions for many of the dishes.

We each had an appetizer, the Gnocchi and the Autumn Risotto. I can't say enough about the presentation of the dishes and the genius building of flavors! I wanted to try something different for my entree than what my husband was ordering, but I couldn't tear myself away from the scrumptious description of the Scarlet Snapper. It was cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth delicious! I would go back again and again for that dish alone!!! I really could go on and on about the food, but you'll just have to see for yourself!

The view was amazing, the water, the clouds, and the smallest break of sun. The restaurant manager even stopped at our table to ensure our complete satisfaction. We currently reside in the Seattle area, and have found another place to frequent!!! Thank you Six Seven!!!

View, service, flavor - WOW! – My husband was sent to Seattle on a business trip, and decided to fly me to Seattle for the weekend to join him for our Anniversary (June 25). The 67 at the Edgewater had been recommended to my husband by Seattle clients, so we decided to trust their judgment. So glad we did!

Our table was set for two as if they were expecting us. This was a nice touch and made us feel welcome.

Upon greeting us, our server recognized our Anniversary immediately, and offered to bring us a glass of champagne to celebrate. This was amazing; we had only mentioned our Anniversary while making reservations, which clearly illustrated good flow of communication amongst the staff.

We had several questions regarding the menu, which was a bit confusing. Our server quickly and easily explained the menu and assisted us in our selections. She recommended that we choose from the Chef's 'composed' entrees, and described the flavors as a 'symphony'. I agree wholeheartedly!

I ordered the full Halibut, and my husband the Filet. OUTSTANDING flavor! Our server also recommended ordering a side dish to share, which was also amazing.

Overall, service was flawless. Our needs were met before we had to ask (as if she read our minds). I felt the staff genuinely cared to make our Anniversary enjoyable, and they succeeded! Even as we left we were thanked and wished a 'Happy Anniversary'.

The view was outstanding. We enjoyed the sailboat race right in front of the restaurant. Every table has a water view in this restaurant, and it is gorgeous!

Thank you to all the staff at 67. Our anniversary was wonderful! I had a hectic day at the airports, freeway in Seattle, etc. You turned our day from Awreck to Amazing!

Eat Before You Go – Proportions were minute, the expense was not worth the venue or view. If you want to be treated like a kid you will enjoy the visit.

Great food, excellent views! – View was by far the best. We watched the sun set over the water. Gorgeous.

Menu was confusing. With 'half portions', one is led to believe 'full portions' must be huge. Our server explained that this was not the case, and we were thankful as regular portions are just right for the average diner.

Food was excellent with many wonderful flavors complimenting each other elloquently and harmoniously.

Service was wonderful, polished, professional. Our only complaint being that we counted our server having seven tables, which seemed to stretch our server thin. While observing, we noted that all servers seemed to be very busy. I felt service lacked, and at the same time believe this was due to overextended staff.

Overall, I was pleased with my experience, and most certainly will return.
