Pass on this one..... – Some people like their sushi; some people find the sushi insulting. Real sushi chefs take pride in the presentation of the sushi they prepare; but NOT at this restaurant; obviously, their standards are very low. I have never seen sushi fall apart on the plate because the chef is too inept to roll it tight enough. Their food here is mediocre at best; there was a thick layer of dust on the containers holding their knives (which they use to cut YOUR food); and you have to wave a flag to get anyone's attention just so you can get a glass of water!!!! And we were seated at the bar. The workers are unfriendly too.

Their other restaurant up in Redmond is NO BETTER. TAke my advice and go to Kikuya's to get the real deal.

Are you sure you want to go? – It's really inexpensive for not fresh sushi and bad service. The cooks don't even answer or nod for customers' questions and requests. They kept forgetting what customers' order and chatting with each other and talking while they were making gross sushi.

An inexpensive solution to your sushi cravings – Somewhat hidden between the sprouting high rises of downtown Bellevue is a quaint and popular sushi house. Devoid of decorative furnishings, the spartan interior is often full of waiting customers eager for cheap eats. Patrons expecting uber fancy and intricate dish preparation will be dispointed, but this establishment will heartily satisfy casual cravings. Wait times of 30 minutes and a dearth of available parking are quite common during the lunch and dinner hours. Nearly all of the popular Nigiri sets (two pieces of sliced fish on a pat of rice) cost one to two dollars, usually a dollar fifty. Whole Salmon is carved on site providing modest entertainment for cooking show fans. Strangely, a number of fantastic meal items are not listed on the menu. The fried calamari for a $1.50 is a great example. Strike up a conversation with the customers seated around you to get the inside scoop. Odds are the person next to you is a regular.

Tips and Tricks:

To the right of the cash register is a waiting list, sign yourself in immediately after entering!

Show up at 11:30am or 4:30pm: These seating times will beat the bulk of the rush and coinside with repopulation of the conveyor with fresh dishes.

Tired of waiting for your favorite dish: Request your item(s) made to order from the Sushi chefs.

There are three booths which can accomodate four or more people, expect a long wait if you desire one of these seats.

Sushi Land = Great CHEAP Sushi – It's definitely not gourmet sushi. But it is definiately great quality for the price. My husband and I go to Sushi Land every Friday!

best sushi at best prices – This place is awesome! the sushi is always fresh, they always have the right selection at unbeatable prices. i've tried other places like blue c sushi but nothing came close to sushi land. although i do wish the girls that worked there would be a bit more attentive but that's beside the point. if you like sushi then this one is a must-see place

Awesome quick sushi – I've been going to Sushiland for years. I love how you can simply pluck off the conveyer belt the sushi you would like and if you don't see one (or more) of your faves, simply ask and they will make it for you. Price is awesome and I always leave here stuffed! The sushi has always tasted fresh and I've never felt bad after eating a meal here. As for some people's concerns about conveyer belt sushi - I took a coworker here a week ago who hated conveyer belt sushi places after a bad experience and she loved it (definitely beat me out on eating sushi!). I wouldn't recommend this place for a group larger than 4, but if it's only a couple of you, you should be fine. Only down sides would be the VERY limited parking as well as seating which can attributed to the wait times when they get busy (typically lunchtime) but even so, it's worth it when I get the craving.

Price ? quality ratio is excellent – Very inexpensive sushi with superb quality. We used to live in Bellevue and went to this place with our kids every weekend, returning occasionally for a lunch or dinner on weekdays. Both our sons (7 and 15 y.o.) loved it! After we moved to downtown Seattle we can not go there as often as before, but we still drive to Bellevue once in a while just to visit our favorite Sushi Land. It?s truly stated that the place is always busy and crowded, but this is the indication of how popular it is. We?ve been living in Seattle area for 8 years and this place has definitely the best price versus quality ratio. It is not romantic or charming at all, but if you are looking for good, fresh and tasty sushi for a great price, this is the place to go.

Really Good Sushi – This is a really great place to go if you like sushi and don't like the usual wait or expensive prices. One of my favorites on the menu is the calamari. It makes a great compliment to the sushi and soups that are available. I would recommend for lunch or dinner.

Good sushi on demand – I like that you can sit down and start eating sushi right away, usually sushi takes a while to make. The selection is nothing great but they gotten their menu down pretty well. My favorite is the seared salmon and the unagi. The prices are fair and the service is good. Sometimes there is a wait and I hear that it gets packed for lunch.

Bad Serice and Table Turnover – This place isn't bad considering the low prices and novelty of the conveyor belt, however they are definitely lacking in the service area. It takes them way too long to clean up a seat, even when there is a huge line. If they simply hired a few more people (with better attitudes) the wait wouldn't be so long and frustrating. The sushi is average at best and often warm, but at least it is cheap. Calling in a pick-up order is a good way to avoid the line, but they often don't answer or wait to pick-up until the 20th ring. Overall they have cheap eats and a moderate selection depending on the time of day, but if quality, efficiency, and service are important to you then this is not the place to go.
