Very goo Italian – This place is really good! Very good food and terrific, friendly service. We went on a Monday night and they were very accommodating to my kids. My wife had the pork chop in the Gorgonzola sauce with mashed potatoes. The pork chop was nicely cooked and the Gorgonzola sauce and mashed potatoes were terrific. I had the rabbit with polenta. Both were very good. The rabbit may have been a hair overdone (no pun intended) but not bad at all. My kids had fusilli with butter and Parmesan and it was very good. Cooked al dente and seasoned well. Parking is S.F. standard (bad).
We really enjoyed this place and will definitely make plans to come back.
A hidden gem with great pasta – As we looked at the menu from outside, we saw that there were only 3 tables seated on a weekday night, but one of the patrons near the window was motioning us to come in and giving us the thumbs up. He looked enthusiastic and happy with his meal, so we took the chance and went in.... and we weren't disappointed. The pasta was delicious with perfect texture and sauce was not too overwhelming. The wine list also featured almost all Italian wines with many by the glass. Overall, the meal was wonderful and relaxing, and ambience was cozy and great for small groups.
Nice Little Spot – I have been here 3 times for lunch.
The penne alle vodka is quite nice.
Nice creamy sauce and the homemade pasta is delicious.
Very good service and very good food.
So far so good.
Amazing! – I was pleasantly suprised by the warm environment and staff. The food was perfect. This is my new favorite place. Everything from the salad to the dessert was yummy.
Hidden gem! Delicious food, friendly service! – This place is fantastic. It's located further down Columbus toward the Financial District, a safe distance from all the touristy Italian restaurants of North Beach. The homemade pasta is fresh and flavorful. The service is warm and friendly. Prices are reasonable. It's a perennial favorite among North Beach residents in the know. A simply charming place!
