over priced – Overpriced sushi. Trendy place. Too loud for conversation. Won't come back again.

Always empty – There is never anyone in the restaurant, so how did it make the trendy scene list?

Just Perfect!!! – Every year my boyfriend and I come back here to celebrate our first date. We went to Hey Sushi on the Saturday before Valentine's day and had another wonderful experience. They had a new chef and the sushi was perfect! Nice size pieces and very fresh. They have expanded on their martini list and included many delicious chocolate martinis. I highly recommend the french roll. It is a warm roll and was pure pleasure. Great service as usual and great ambience. Try this place and I am sure you will make it a tradition too!

There's no one ever there! – I don't understand how this overpriced underserviced sushi spot is in existance. I went there for the first time a year ago and revisited to see if it had changed. There was one person dining in there. The portions are small and the sushi is lacking any taste at all. For the prices, I'd expect to taste my sushi at the very least. Why isn't there anyone ever in there? The place is horrible.

Surprisingly good – This is one of the nicest dining experiences we've had recently. The sushi was great, and there were tons of choices. The basics were nicely fresh, and the more unusual items were interesting and tasty. Service was wonderful -- this was a cold winter night, but we were made to feel welcome. The room is fun -- just a bit hip and trendy, but not enough to be uncomfortable. The music was just plain great. We'll gladly return often

Best Sushi Ever!!!!! – We had the chef's special roll and the frech roll here. They were amazing. They literarally melted in my mouth. We also tried the toro and I couldn't believe how fresh it was and how reasonably priced this place is. This is our new favorite spot for sushi. I've tried a lot of sushi places. This place beats them all hands down.

Amazing Fish, Amazing Value – My date and I dined at hey sushi last week and had an incredible experience. The setting was modern and the atmosphere was upbeat. Our server was very informative about some of the fusion rolls that were new to me. They have both traditional items and also different rolls I have never seen before. We decided to try something new. We tried the french roll. It was incredible. It has crab in a roll along with other items in a very tasty cream sauce. They also have a very extensive drink list as well with LOTS of martinis. We will be back for another date this week. What a great value compared to some of the other places I've been to.

Eat like a bird and blow some cash! – The couch seating was great and intimate (somewhat) but the service was indifferent and non-verbal at best. Though the fish was fresh, the portions served on the rolls was wimpy (covered only 1/4 of the roll) in comparison with other sushi places. These people are making a killer profit by charging more for less fish. I don't get it. Also, the sushi is very Americanized, and in this case, it is not a good thing. Bottom line: Get more fish, service, traditional sushi at a better price somewhere else.

No Way Sushi – If you enjoy good sushi and good service, stay away from hey sushi. Even though the place was 15% full (at best), we watched in disbelief as the entire waitstaff chatted obliviously by the bar. When a waitress finally glanced up, we waved her over and placed our order, stressing that one of us was deathly allergic to sesame seeds. Lo and behold, she returns with our order -- covered in sesame seeds. For all of this hassle, the sushi was mediocre.
