Looks better than it is.... I had been really excited to try this restaurant. It looked like a fun and interesting place. Our experience was disappointing. I had called to make reservations, and when we arrived there wasn't a table reserved, and one was just thrown together quickly in a less than ideal space as we waited. The food was just average for the price, not very impressive in flavors. The service was friendly and the ambience comfortable, but that's not enough for me to go back.

Specialty seafood and small-town hospitality at this California-style eatery.. The Scene
Sunny yellow walls splashed with abstract doodles in red, blue and green set the scene for a California-style eatery that delivers both unbelievably fresh seafood and friendly, attentive service. Owner Zul Megji and his wife, Jenny, make the rounds during meals, happily chatting with the many regulars who love the bistro's small-town hospitality.

The Food
Seafood is the specialty, and the best dishes marry the day's fresh catch with exotic flavors. Exceptional seafood entrees include sea bass served over Florentine ravioli and glistening ahi tuna, seared rare and accompanied by marinated shitake mushrooms. Flavorful pastas, lightly tossed in pesto, marinara or light garlic sauce, brim with seafood. Take a chance when ordering: Standbys, such as crab cakes and scampi, are good, but not extraordinary. Desserts, however, are delightfully sinful. Don't miss the cheesecake, tiramisu or raspberry brownie sundae.

Well.... The place definitely has a preety good service.

The food... Well, that's a different story.

Food is very bland. No, they're not bad... but really, nothing to write home about...

Great Romantic place. Love the food first of all!!! It was delicious! Went for Valentines day and it was perfect!! It was a quite atmosphere, with small tables lit with candles. It was wonderful!!! I loved it and would go back again and again!!

This place is great!!!!. Having not made reservations for New Year's Eve, we were lucky enough to find Fins just down the street from Jak's. We were extremely impressed with their ability to seat us quickly, albeit towards the back of the restaurant, but more importantly, with the delicious and well prepared food and service. I would recommend Fins to anyone and will return myself.

Great restaurant!. My husband and I have eaten at Fin's many times and it's always been wonderful. All of their dishes have been great, but I particularly enjoy their ahi tuna salad. They are always able to fit us in and are very pleasant people. They even remember us as soon as we walk in the door!

That's more (or less) like it. For once, a top quality establishment that doesn't feel the need to load your plate with heaping amounts of food. Just lovely tasting treats in the perfect portions.
