Great experience. Brock and Lissy were incredibly helpful every step of the way. Thanks guys. I would highly recommend Wedding Day Diamonds.
Must read! Brock at WDD went far above and beyond the call of duty when helping me through the process. We were stuck in a tight spot due to another jeweler's classless business decisions (which forced me to walk away from the ring I wanted). Brock went so far as to call jewelers in other states to find a way for me to buy that very same ring (comes from a small designer). After he found a way to purchase the ring, he took it under the WDD warranty as if it was sold by him.
Also, during the diamond purchasing process, he was incredibly open and honest. He listened carefully to my wants/needs/wishes and after nearly 6 weeks, found me the perfect stone. I'm the pickiest of buyers and he supported me the whole way.
I couldn't have asked for a more dedicated person. He made finding the perfect ring possible. A level of customer service that I will never forget.
My engagement ring had a loose stone and my husband's wedding band had a chip in it, unfortunately we purchased these through an online retailer and I didn't know where to turn. Wedding Day Diamonds is close to home, so I stopped in and Mike Gores was immediately helpful! He was able to fix BOTH rings at no cost, and gave some great advice that will keep the rings in good shape for years to come. He also recommended I keep bringing the rings there for future cleanings, regardless of where I bought them! He was friendly, personable, and will always be my go-to in the future for anything jewelry related! Thank you Mike and Wedding Day Diamonds.
Great Experience – When my fiance and I started to look for engagement rings, we started off with the traditional stores such as Kays, Helzbergs, etc. We happened to come across Wedding day when I was considering selling a piece of jewelry. The gentleman that we were working with left the store shortly after helping us. When we return to look for a mounting and diamond and to get an idea of a 'unqiue' ring. From the start Lacey laid out so many options for us and was helpful from the start to beginning. She helped us get the best value for my fiance's wedding band and for the diamond, she was honest in telling us that the value of gold and the value of the diamond would continue to go up. She was right, the value of my fiance's wedding band double. She was wonderful with every single thing. I don't think we'll buy our jewelry anywhere else, and we wouldn't send anyone anywhere else.
Wonderful experience! – I have had such a great experience at Wedding Day Diamonds. They reset a center stone from a ring into a beautiful pendent and have helped me restore a ring I inherited from my Grandmother. Lacey was helpful and friendly from the second I walked in the door. I have a vacation coming up and she made an exception to have my ring done in time to bring it with! She and the entire staff is great and I will be going back to them for all my jewelry needs.
Awesome Service – My boyfriend and I had great service at the Maplewood location. Lacey, who was helping us was top notch!! She was just great, once we started to near down the styles that I was most interested in, she knew exactly what to show me. She also had a beautiful diamond, that looked perfect in the setting. We will be doing our band shopping there. Thank you!
1st experience horrible one – I went in to sell some gold from out of town. I think the lady who helped us was Susan Median or something similar. While she was helping us she decided to have a conversation with other customers/employees. She obviously thought it was more important than focusing on her present customers. Her blatant disregard for customer satisfaction/ experience means I will never visit another one of your stores.
A good team to work with – I had gone to several jewelry stores in search of a nice unique ring for that special person in my life. The staff was very helpful from the get go and the selection of base rings (although a bit higher than some) was amazing. I decided after consideration to go with them to make the special ring for who is the most important person in your life. The original person we worked with was off the day I went in, however I had emailed her and she arranged for me to work with the manager and left notes indicating what we had been looking at which helped the next person know as well. When I went back to their store, they had notes posted saying I was coming so everyone knew what I was after. I sat down, picked out the band and then reviewed diamonds that would match the stones already on the ring. The entire time I was treated with respect and it felt as if I had known the person as a friend. It was a great experience for me. Upon leaving the store, I was joking around about getting a plastic ring from a box of a well known snack (CJ). Then I mentioned getting one from a 50 cent vending machine. The woman I was working with laughed and said, "We have candy rings" I asked for one. Brought it home and gave it to the future lady. She laughed big time. Sometimes it's the little things that matter and their attention and commitment was awesome. Thanks to all the staff who helped make the experience fun and exciting.
Don't have a repair done! – Update to this...
I was contacted by Erin at the Eden Prairie store. She was intent on seeing a satisfied customer and offered to take care of the repair personally. I took my ring out to her and she had the diamond reset at no cost. Really appreciate the service. While I won't go to the Maplewood store again, I wouldn't hesitate to visit Erin at the Eden Prairie store.
So disappointed with the quality of their repair service. I have had my wedding ring for 19 yrs now. Purchased it from Marquis Jeweler in Maplewood Mall and they were bought out by Wedding Day. In April, I had a diamond fall out after I banged it on a shopping cart. Because of the Wedding Day connection, I brought it there to have the diamond reset (I found the diamond when it fell out) and had the whole ring retipped so this wouldn't happen again. Hefty price of $215...which I thought was a bit on the high side! All was fine until 5 months later, the same diamond fell out again. I hit it on the wall - not very hard - and out it came. So disappointed after the money I spent on the last repair. I called to find out how long they warranty their work and was told it was only 30 days. The girl (Nikki) said there was nothing she could do and was sorry. I could understand them not guaranteeing their work if I hadn't had it retipped but I had it retipped so this wouldn't happen again. What a disappointment. Won't ever shop there again and will share this experience with everyone in the market for jewelry or jewelry repair.
Rip off artists... – Boycott this store & all locations. Read the BBB history about these scam artists. Don't sell your jewelry here, ever..... Don't believe the positive reviews. I recently sold jewelry ( big mistake) and asked for a receipt, BFE to mail that to me, the list of items I sold were listed incorrectly + the weight was incorrect for the total number of items. So the true value was not paid to me....ripped off!!!!!
