What a great store.
I love contemporary furniture and Inform has it. I was visiting Seattle and found great Royal Botania outdoor items here that I had only seen online. Allison made it possible for the items to be shipped from the factory directly to me on the east coast. She really went out of her way to help us make decisions on sizes, colors, etc. I have only the highest praise for this experience--constant updates and attention to my order.
I unfortunately order a few items from the store across the street, an experience that has been a total disaster. It is amazing how 2 stores, both with high end furniture and serving the same clientelle, can be polar opposites when it comes to service.
Stay on this side of 8th with Allison and Inform Interiors and you will have a great furniture experience.
Not so Hot. Good assortment of quality product and major lines but looks cluttered. Very similar to the store by the same name in Vancouver, Canada. Confrontations by staff aren't pleasant to see while shopping. One woman is abrasive.
Retro elegance meets contemporary European design in this hip home furnishings boutique..
Like walking into a three dimensional Mondrian painting, Inform's pristine geometric space creates the ultra modern vibe of a hip 60's spy movie. Laid out gallery style, a platform front and center spotlights featured designers and museum quality furniture, with special exhibits once a year. Don't be afraid to touch the goods because it's all designed for functionality.
Philip Starck limited edition tables, Mandarina Duck Italian bags, a private line of custom upholstery and Agape spoon tubs are boldly displayed under individual spotlights. Colorful molded plastic chairs, trash bins made from stiffened Dutch billboards, design books splayed across every surface...it's no wonder architects and designers make this a destination when searching out what's new in the European design scene. There's plenty of space-age lighting here too. If you can afford it, this the place to shop for a contemporary conversation piece.
Go meet Alison. Alison rocks at this store. She is a great resource for all kinds of design questions, and I never fail to be amazed and amused at this store. The best shop along Western Avenue for great furnishings for your home.
