Conscientious and Inviting Studio. I first went to the Samarya Center with a friend to take their Intro to Ashtanga class, which is a 12 week class for $144. If you go with a friend, you split the cost. I casually have practiced yoga for ten years, but this class clarified many of the techniques and concepts commonly overlooked by other instructors. It also was very helpful to go back through the basics to perfect my form. Through the course, I learned the ideology of the studio, which focuses on community work and affordable yoga for everyone. It is a warm and inviting studio with wonderful instructors and classes.

The best yoga spot in town, $8 a class. Wonderful teachers and a beautiful, calm studio that provides mats, blankets, eye pillows and a lovely altar to help students and practitioners focus. Non-judgmental about any body type, age, disability or lack of expertise. Also super helpful whether you are a beginner or into vigorous yoga. THE BEST THING: Saturday free class, plus a lot of classes are drop-in and cost only $8, with a further deduction ($55 a month gets you unlimited classes) available...Run as a charity and it shows in the kind approach of instructors.
