The Scene
From 27th Avenue East to Bayfront Festival Park, this asphalt pathway provides easy access to many of Duluth's tourist attractions and a heart-pumping walk. Near its eastern end are the Duluth Rose Garden and Leif Erickson Park; at its western end are the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center complex (including an Omnimax theater), the new-in-2000 Great Lakes Aquarium and the bayside park, where hot tunes sound out on cool summer nights. In between are the Canal Park entertainment district, the iconic Aerial Lift Bridge, and sculptures representing Duluth and its sister cities in Sweden, Canada, Russia and Japan.
The Lake
Lake Superior, with the largest surface area of any freshwater lake in the world, commands your attention with its changing moods and rocky shores.
The Best. You cannot find a more relaxing, beautiful walk. Bring a picnic and enjoy the sights !
