Great product selection and friendly service – Whenever I can't find an electronics product I need, I always turn to Best Buy. I went to the store on Shelbyville Rd. on 5 or 6 separate occasions and each time the items I needed were well stocked, neatly organized on the shelf and store associates were prompt about asking if I needed assistance finding anything. On 3 separate occasions, I have become really impressed by the quality of service that I have received. In late 2011, I was shopping for a few items to finish up some last minute Christmas shopping. The cashier who checked me out (her name was Kim, I believe) was very friendly, greeted me with a smile, and appeared to enjoy working there. The next time I came in, I needed a camera filter. The shelves were well stocked with the product I needed, and the customer service associate at the rear desk (Grant, if I'm not mistaken) was helpful and friendly as well. I also needed a steering wheel control module for my stereo (not a common product by any means) and the store associates were able to hold the item until I made it there to the store. I was able to come in, go straight to customer service, get the product I needed and go home in time to install it in my car. On all three occasions, the people were helpful, friendly and not the least bit pushy. My only complaint is their car audio department. The selection is not nearly as extensive as it was 2 years ago, and they will no longer sell the wiring harnesses as separate units to the general public. I recommend Best Buy because they have oddball electronics items that are hard to find anywhere else and their customer service reps work hard to ensure that you leave the store with everything you need.
Great service for everything you need – I feel comfortable buying whatever I need here. Any questions I have are answered. The prices I pay are good. There is also a price guarantee they offer. If an item you buy goes on sale 30 days from the day you buy it, whether it is at Best Buy or somewhere else, they will refund you the difference!
The only bad experience I've had is in the cell phone department. I was given some bad information from what was apparently a new employee. I'm glad I caught the mistake when I did otherwise I would be stuck in a 2 year contract with a service I wouldn't want.
I've done business in this cell phone department many times in the past and have had only this one bad experience. I will still do business here in the future.
