The wife and I arrived after dark on a 2 week motorcycle trip from Arizona up to Crescent City and then down the coast to San Diego. The gentleman in the office checked us in and gave us a room where we could park outside our door. The room was nice and clean. We unloaded our gear and went across the street for dinner. After dinner we went back to our room. Beds were comfy and the bathroom was very clean. I know we enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay there again.
clean and equipped with what you need - coffee maker, fridge and stove top. Look at that wood panelling on the walls. That stuff is real! It's wide planks and thick and was from a real big old tree.
Had to stay at this motel, due to it's name. S.O. is a Bigfooter, and we were traveling through, and he wanted to stay in Bigfoot Country! Motel is clean and decent. The manager was very friendly and helpful
if you want to enjoy the whole " BIG FOOT Experience " in the Middle of BIG FOOT COUNTRY ...this is it!.... pluss...it's only 20 steps to the BIG FOOT MUSEUM ..
considering the age of the motel it was clean and the towels and the sheets and pillowcases were surprisngly very white!
The exterior of the buildings appeared to be freshly painted and it was actually a very good job and trimmed out nicely and the parking lot was spotless.
The lady in the office was very friendly and answered all of our questions and offered some suggestions in response to our questions. Everybody we met in this town was very, very friendly.
Stayed here on our way to Tahoe. Clean rooms. Nice pool, friendly staff.
After a very long day of driving some of Northern California's more challenging roads, we were all very happy to roll up the Bigfoot Motel. We'd called to say we were running late and arrived just as the lighted sign was shut off (after 11pm), but the lady behind the desk was kind enough to come back out to sign us into our rooms.
The overall feel of the rooms is a little rustic, but as promised the heaters work incredibly well and we were all quite toasty and happy for the night.
Willow Creek itself is a neat little town with a great deal of Bigfoot heritage. More than once I expected the theme from Twin Peaks to start playing as the clouds skirted through the trees. We were all happy with the accommodations and the little coffee shop around the corner (next to the NAPA auto parts store) was also quite good!
Very decent motel. Clean, with newish appliances.
Plus, how many motels can boast that they have a cage that once housed Bigfoot?
Bigfoot Motel is a great jump off point for everything Bigfoot. My room was right by the 'cage'. You can check out the Bigfoot museum and pose with the Bigfoot sculpture hewn from a huge tree. If you're at least 5'4" you might be able to hold the sculpture's hand. When you're hungry, try a Bigfoot burger - two patties in a foot-shaped bun.
When you're finally ready to set down in the motel, the rooms are rustic but comfortable. Over the stay, the staff was very responsive.
we were satisfied with the experience with the motel in Bigfoot country.
