NON-Traditional Pub...and that's not good – Stopped in here on a Friday night for a pint and casual conversation. I had been here once but didn't remember it as good or bad. As a pub, it had the requisite wood floor, beaten up wood tables and chairs and a good half-dozen beers on draught. That's where the traditional pub ended. The music was so loud that conversations had to be hollered to the person sitting next to me. And it wasn't Irish ballads or fife and drums type of stuff. We're talking bump and grind, techno club music, complete with black lights and a multi-colored strobe light. The only food we had were wings and they were only OK. They were overloaded with sauce to the point that we were scraping off the excess with a knife. The loud music, blinding strobe and poor service combined to make this an experience I won't forget and NOT for the right reasons. I'll be trying another bar / pub next time.

Maize and blue town adds a touch of green. Irish green, that is. – In Short
A traditional Irish pub designed and built in Ireland, Conor O'Neill's is an alluring gathering spot featuring live Irish music and entertainment throughout the week. With kindling floorboards and dark lighting, the atmosphere captures the bar/town gathering space feel of a true Irish tavern, attracting a diverse crowd of students and business people. Fare includes several types of sandwiches and a colorful array of traditional Irish fare, including bangers and mash, boxty and sheperd's pie.

Great Guinness, good food – I loved the Shepherds pie! The atmosphere is grand, and the drink great. Authentic Ireland in the midwest.
