The only Greek around – There really aren't any other Greek restaurants around Davis. This is where I first had Pasticcio...think a creamy mac 'n' cheese with ground beef. I fell in love this this dish that I had to try it home. Of course I had to find the most complicated recipe. I only made it once. Now whenever I go out for Greek, I compare the pasticcio with the one from the Symposium. Nothing ever lives up to it. I also loved the spinach pizza with 3 cheese. When I wasn't chowing on pasticcio...I was sharing this pizza with friends. The last time I dined here with my old roommate we enjoyed pizza and salads as we reminisced for hours. If you're looking for something different, give the Symposium a try. It's not downtown with all the other places...but nothing in Davis is "far". For goodness sake...take the Unitrans.

Savory delight! – This is indeed "little-known" but it's a wonderful restaurant. The staff is exhuberantly friendly, with a very familial feeling. The food is delicious, and wonderful for anyone who loves Greek foods. For those unfamiliar with Greek foods, or those unsure of what to order, the sampler combos are a Godsend.

The atmosphere is very laid-back, and almost has the feel of a picnic. Highly recommended for when you've got a large group to entertain.

This little-known Greek restaurant in Davis serves the divine food of the gods that we mortals love. – The Scene
The interior is best described as Olive Garden meets Pizza Hut. Blue checkered tablecloths cover the tables where patrons sit in wobbly chairs devouring heaping plates of food. This place is usually packed with native Greeks and large parties celebrating special occasions.

The Food
The menu boasts a hearty selection of traditional Greek dishes like sweetbreads, mousaka and dolma, seafood and 23 pizzas.

What to Order
Start with the Zatsiki--a dip composed of yogurt, cucumbers and garlic--and then move on to pizza No. 21 (the new giro). This pie, with buttery flaky crust topped with seasoned ground beef, onions, fresh tomatoes and feta cheese, could go up against anything Zelda's makes and win. The chicken souvlaki (shish kebab) is also worth a nibble.

What to Skip
The white Greek wine. The server described its taste as turpentiney, and she was right.
